it was, i was there, mostly down to the fact that it was new years day and everyone was hungover dont think every game can be like the barcelona and big four game atmospheres, bring back standing thats what i say like they do in germany, places would be rocking!

i was in the same situation, i got loads of letters addressed to a guy who was previously renting my house, there were loads, from about 3 seperate companies i opened them and phoned everyone of them telling them that he no longer lived here, none of them said that i shouldnt have opened their mail, they just said that they will make sure that no more letters will be sent out short answer - you have nowt to worry about

yeah sorry, my mind just shuts off when i hear responses regarding united fans, the "prawn sandwich reference" and "all united fans live in london" are just so BORING mate iv been to old trafford more times than i can remember, been a season ticket holder since 1990. think some people on this forum should get out of there arm\PC chair a bit more......

i have found some on a site, they are officially called "3.5 inch Drive Bay Blanking Plates", if you search for blanking plates then it comes up with the motherboard extension bay covers found a company that supplies these, which is quite handy as our pcs are all fujitsu siemens http://www.morecomputers.com/TechDesc.asp?pn=S26361%2DF2542%2DL230 ....but at the moment are out of stock!!

As most probably all of you have been in the same situation, the kids have knackered up the floppy disk drives and have now become unusable and untidy. does any one know of anywhere you can get the (3.5" size) floppy disk blanking bays and preferebly in black? also, what is the official name for these? cheers

Formating my mates pc from vista as his installation has currupt, He has an OEM version of vista which has already been activated (from previous install) Would i be able to activate this serial number again or would i have problems? cheers phil

have a problem with a sahara projector (yes the ones we got for free) just recently (last night) the projector started cutting out after about 15minutes tried looking for a filter to clean but to no avail, does anyone know how to reset the lamp on this projector? anyone had any similar problems with this model (av-3618+) cheers phil

We have been getting a strange error recently regarding certain computers not talking (recieving) an IP Address through DHCP, Over the last few days we have installed a new suite of a round 20ish pcs. Our scope is set to dish out addresses from the range *.*.16.1 - *.*.18.1 (thus giving us 700 and odd addresses) (although no addresses have yet been given from the 17.1 or 18.1 subnet) now we have about 30 addresses still available on the 16.1 range, but when we have request the PCs in the new suite to pick up addresses from DHCP it comes up with the error "unable to contact your DHCP server, request has timed out" Then a default (APIPA) address is issued of IP - 10.0.0.* 255.255.0.0 This has happened with other PCs other than the new ones so im sure its not the new pc configuration, but also at the same time other PCs on the network have been given Addresses via DHCP?? Tried Client firewall is off re-installed the network adapter swapped switches in network cab Any help would be apreciated phil

have a basic script that i have put together, and it needs to run everytime she logs off, is there anyway that i could get this script to run (just for this user) when she logs off the domain? I know there is the option of log off script for groups etc.. in AD, but not for the single user cheers phil

yeah cheers, there have been plenty of questions on backups in the practice questions iv been doing the thing with MCSE/MCSAs and similar qualifications, they are a good qualification to have, but cant be relied on too much, i think with experience, they are a good thing to have.

silkworm was a brilliant game, just recently got hold of an amiga off ebay, with silkworm , great giana sisters (total rip off Super mario) desert strike..the list goes on super mario kart - snes - = one of the best games ever made...IMO

Over the last few days we have had numerous requests from various departments in our school to play music cds/mp3s over our network. Now we currently have a no license for Public Performances of music from CDs/MP3s How are you guys managing this? We have recently setup audio equipment in our dining rooms for pupils to listen to background music our understanding is we need a PPL (Public Performance licence) for this to be legal?. phil

have been looking in to this myself recently, weve been having a huge amount of staff not knowing anything about the school email (let alone using it), moodle, where to save things etc... and things like mp3 usage/legality, but a vast majority will never read the booklets,.... Its just a case of ticking the boxes for when they say "well no one told me about that"...... phil
