We use one for backups and had a terrible time setting it up as AD didn't see it. Now using batch files to backup too it but need to map it prior to each backup using "net use" and had to create new users on the terastation as doesn't see AD users.
In our acceptable use policy there is a seperate section for staff to sign giving us permission to look in their work area, otherwise we have to go up the tree to SLT and the decision rests with them.
Had a similar thing with kids setting up pages impersonating staff on myspace. Several stiff emails with the threat of legal action soon had them removed. We have youtube, myspace, bebo etc all banned within school.
Just got sent an email by a teacher with an Access database attached but it appears to be blocked by Outlook. Is there any way I can recover this from my exchange server or has it not let it in at all?
Cheers for any help.
OWA on Exchange 2003 for staff. Students have internal mail only through our frogbox but senior leadership have never allowed us to enable it. Doesn't integrate with AD either which is a PITA.
