If your using Exchange then just setup OWA to access the mail when they are out of the building.

I have seen a problem like this before, you need to update the S/MIME control on the Exchange server then re-install it on any client machines that use OWA. If you follow the Microsoft KB article below it should hopefully sort your issue. The Compose Message form stops responding after you install Internet Explorer 7.0 and the S/MIME control on an Outlook Web Access client in Exchange Server 2003

Is the image XP SP2 ? I have an issue like this with a Dell machine and it would blue screen unless the install had sp2. Just a thought

As Craig already suggested a HP ML 110 with some more RAM and some decent hard drives would be more than adequite for what you require. If you try to ping servername was address does it resolve to?

We looked at many different solutions and went with GoToAssist by Citrix (http://www.gotoassist.com/) It's great product and never fails us, it's not really that cheap but the package you get is superb.

We use NOD32 internally and on all our customers sites. Very easy to install and highly configurable. Works well even on older slower machine which symantec/Norton would grind to a halt.

I have seen this problem before and it was a corrupt mailbox. Follow the instructions from ittech and this will resolve your issues.

Try a full shutdown (Not a restart) then manually power the server back on.

You don't need to use ssl for OWA you can disable it on the owa website within IIS. Just a thought

You need to put another disk in the server, then you can go into disk management and convert both disks to dynamic. You then need to reboot and then you can go back into disk management and add your mirror.
