Hi, I'm trying to set up a trial of PaperCut to allow our pupils to print from iPads. I've installed PaperCut on a Mac mini. The problem I am having is sharing the printer. When I try to tick the printer sharing box it will not 'tick'. Has anyone else had this problem? I can share some other printers on our network but not the one we require. It's a Ricoh MP 6500. Hi, Our staff shared drive has become read only. I have no idea how this happened. I have tried using the attrib -r +s drive:\\ cmd which appears to run but does not actually change anything. Can anyone help with this? Many thanks Sarah

Hi, We have a fb, twitter and linkedin. I set them up but someone else updates them. I'm just asked for help when they get stuck. We did have one instance of a negative comment which we deleted and then contacted the person to invite them to talk to us directly about their issue. That's the only downside we have seen. We post as synaesthesia commented sports successes, events, photos, reminders etc.

Hi, We are having a problem where users logged into our Citrix terminals do not get a preview of images in their folders, only an image icon. I have checked gp and the 'always show icons, never thumbnails' is not ticked. Can anyone help please? Thanks Sarah

After filling in an Apple support form and being informed they would get back to me in 5 days I went ahead and added billing info and then deleted it. This has worked and allowed me to get the ipads set up. So ok because we only have 6, but I will be interested to hear what they come back with as a practical solution.

Thank you Brimstone, But it still asks me for billing info. I'v opened a case with Apple and will post back if i get anywhere. One of Apple's suggestions was to add the billing info then delete it. Which maybe ok on a few devices but if you are managing class sets etc not really pratical.

Hi, We have just purchased 6 ipad minis, I've set up VPP and the meraki dashboard, all good so far. When I grant a user (ipad) to use VPP, an invitation is sent and they are then directed to the appstore. They log in but are then asked to enter payment details. Why is that if I've already set up payment details for VPP? I really don't understand! Can someone who has been through this process please help. Apologies if my question is confusing, I'm confused! Hi, We have been using Google Docs for a few months now and all has been working well. However since Monday our pupils cannot update their documents and are receiving a 'trying to connect' message. Has anyone else had this issue? Staff members are not affected which makes it seem like a permissions issue. I've looked at our websense but not got anywhere with that. Please help! Hi, I've just created a standard signature for our school using the transport rules in Exchange 2010. It works really well except for iPads/iPhones. When a member of staff sends an email from an iPad etc the signature loses all formatting and the image that is included just shows as a url. Has anyone else had this problem, any help would be great. Manythanks Sarah

Good Afternoon, I have been using TeamViewer quite happily to allow access to our servers for some support people from time to time. Now this week when I run TeamViewer I am geting the 'Not ready. Please check your connection.' msg I have tried reinstalling and also older versions and adding the exe as an exception in Symantec. Is anyone else having similar issues? Hi, I've been asked to set up a system where pupils can send a message to a particular member of staff if they feel they are being bullied etc. Ideally the message should include the username automatically so that even if they don't enter any text the sender is recorded. We use OWA so I think mailto is out of the question, I haven't found a reliable way to make that work and mandatory profiles. Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
