Yeah same here. Lots of the 'Orange' ones are a bit obscure but right down in the greens I was away. I think it should be a numerical score rather than a path. Well EOD is End of the Day isn't it? LOL no, although if one of the weird combos contains ketchup, BBQ sauce would make it more Awesome. I'm quite conservative about food and Chips with Mayonnaise is about as 'weird' as I get although LeBoyfriend likes to grate cheese and chop raw onion and have a cheese and onion sandwich which I find revolting. Not sure that counts as weird either. Nor does his tendency to spread ketchup on bread and dip it in gravy (eurgh it's revolting). I do know someone who eats Crisp-and-sugar sandwiches if that counts?

I find my front 'poor visibility lights' particularly helpful in really foul, driving rain and if I can barely see the tail lights of the car in front of me then it is pretty certain I should have my rear visibility light on. Heavy rain is just as legitimate a reason as fog or thick mist. I get really annoyed when someone behind me has their high beam on - it's blinding in the rear view. Sometimes I wish I could reflect it back at them to give them a taste of their own medicine. Or get one of those LED panels with 'TURN YOUR F-ING LIGHTS DOWN MORON' scrolling across my back windscreen lol

Public Service announcement for everyone who doesn't know how to turn their foggies on: 1) RTFM. 2) Front fog lights are controlled by a dial, switch, button or pull out dial/lever with this symbol: It may be green. In my 05 Ford Focus Zetec I turn the front foggies on by pulling the headlight dial out once. When you turn the dial to turn your headlights off the dial pops back in so you can't accidently leave them on. In my old 2001 Vectra it was a separate button with the symbol below the headlight dial. 3) Rear Fog lights are controlled by a dial, switch, button or pull out dial/lever with this symbol: It may be orange or red. In my 05 Ford Focus these are turned on by pulling the headlight dial out twice to the second position. This means it IS possible in a focus to have the front fogs on without the rear (mostly because it IS blinding to people behind you if rear visibility isn't terrible) In my old 2001 Vectra this was a separate button next to the front fogs. Note how the front fog light symbol shows 'dipped' beam and the rear shows straight. 4) Let me google that for you

I am inclined to agree with you. The number of people I saw on the road last night and this morning without their fog lights on was quite frankly frightening. Then again, the number of people driving at night with no headlights on at all is also frightening. I should think in an accident if the other person did not have their fog lights on in drastically reduced visibility it makes them the liability and therefore should automatically assign blame to them.

I deliberately leave my WoW subscription running. I love the game and having to faff about reactivating it whenever I want to play is just a pain. I definitely think it is too easy for saved credentials to be used to make purchases - even on Ebay there is an auto-checkout on paypal and Amazon have 1-click. Which is fine if you are responsible but not so much if your device happens to fall into less discriminating hands. There should be more 'top up' schemes available so kids have to learn to budget - want that extra booster in candy crush or the ad-free version of Angry birds? Budget. Obvs there IS a top up scheme for Google Play but IIRC even if you top up the account you still need a card attached to it. Same as iTunes - to be able to add credit to an itunes account by redeeming gift cards, the account MUST have a bank card attached - it's wrong. I like the Verisign stuff on Visa cards but that only works on actual websites. Things like paypal have already got past that stage.

Even on my Android devices ingame and play store purchases have to be verified by my password and the ticky box that says 'do not ask me again' shouldn't be on there IMO. It is too easy to accidently tick it and buy stuff by finger kludge. I make a point of NOT disabling this feature but I can see how it might get disabled easily.

Bread machines are great, I have one, but honestly I wouldn't use it to bake as the loaf comes out very dense. Also, little tip, add all the liquid ingredients first otherwise you don't get a good mix. Personally I use mine to just prove and knead but to get a good rise I always need a second proving. It's good to set up and let it prove and knead while you do your own thing though.

Easier said than done in some cases where the dipstick previous owners of our house put sockets in stupid places - I don't want to have to move the sofa to switch off a plug socket...

After reading this thread I'm terrified that one of our charging docks will catch fire - if the phone has been disconnected is it still drawing enough current to combust?

I can't bear to eat when I've just got up so I usually get up at 7, leave the house at around 8 and then eat breakfast at my desk (Shredded Wheat with Lactofree Whole milk and Splenda). This usually tides me over until around 11 when I'll have an Alpen Light Cereal bar, then lunch at 1, then the usual afternoon slump tends to hit me between 3 and 4 so it's time for a Cadbury Highlights or Twinings fruit tea and a wander in the sub-arctic environment of the Support office (they like to grow icicles from the air con vents) then home at 5, dinner around 6.30.

I should have arranged something for LeBoyfriend to cheer him up really but I think Valentines is the least of his priorities atm. I'm just going to let this years V-day slip quietly past without fanfare.

A minidisc player - does that count? At a time when people were still toting around chunky portable CD players and MP3 players were limited to 10 songs I had a minidisc player and it was really special to me - I'd saved up and bought it with the proceeds of my saturday job and I spent hours making lengthy mix-discs and it was brilliant. I even got one for my car. It was awesome for about 6 months until the iPod became viable. Now it is worthless and gathering dust.
