In the OP's case either a wideband or a Group K (a relatively new group that does 21-48) is required because three of the digital multiplexes are out of the original Group A band from Bromsgrove. But as a general point I'd agree that a grouped aerial is better for most people (although I'd have said it's more to do with performance across the frequency range than interference from neighbouring transmitters.)

Yeah the UHF system was planned for four channels (at the time that was quite well futureproofed, C4 was only a vague plan back then). Channel 5 and the six digital multiplexes have been shoehorned in, and in some places there are compromises. And don't get me started on the "half a freeview" postcode lottery!

If you're on the Bromsgrove tx they're making some changes tomorrow - analogue BBC2 goes and the post DSO BBCA mux comes up, and then on the 20th you should find the signals are at their final full power as analogue is fully switched off. Looks like Bromsgrove is one of the few areas where you will get a benefit from a Wideband aerial.

I think saving a few pages is probably going to be ok (as in view a page and do a save as). Spidering the whole site is perhaps more objectionable. Caching pages that have already been viewed is the accepted model of how the web works (caching proxy servers, browser caches) so there's plenty of precedent for that being standard practice and by putting that on the web you're inviting people to do that. Using software to trawl the site, I guess you could make a case that if there isn't a robots.txt file at the root of the site disallowing it then it's fair game (it's what Google does, after all) but that's much murkier water, and IANAL!

Is that not the whole purpose of ERA+? You record it off-air and keep the recording. I thought the digital bit referred to your recording, rather than the transmission medium - in Lincolnshire you'll only have analogue broadcasts until August anyway! I don't know if this is the case for schools, but for us in HE we have to be careful with the BBC documentaries - if it's an Open University co-production it's excluded from our license, so that means that things like Coast are off-limits.
