I managed to us Windows Server Backup and done a Bare Metal Recovery but it not responding very well once back in the OS... Very slow to open Network setting to enter it old IP, Virtual Disc Service, Domain join. (it seem like it network related.... ) Any ideas?

Looking at our Hyper V Hosts (3 Hosts with 2CPU each) What is the best way of backing up our Virtual Servers? Could i get away with running veeam free to backup our Virtuals or would a paid for solution be better? Also what storage is best to backup up them on to? (Sorry for the random Q's)

Do I need to have exchange installed before doing setup.com /m:recoverserver?

I flattened it and restarted and install NET 3.5 first... Now i get this: *Taken from the log file* IIS6 is installed but cant see no sign of IIS7

Dosnt give an error. Just wants to rollback and reboot.... I'm making it do windows updates currently to see if it will improve things..

Hi We been hit with a virus over the weekend and its hit us quite bad. They took our exchange box out along with the databases. We have a Windows Backup of the OS/Files etc.. before we was hit (Friday) I have restored all files and folder to a clean server on same (ish) hardware How do i repair or reinstall exchange?

Thats only got the 15" listed as the affected model. And i'm sure it has the Intel Graphics not nvidia. Ive ordered a new battery for it as it was on charge over night (led on magsafe was on green when unplugged) and not starting on battery.. Will update on that when battery turns up.. (If it is the battery when i will be shocked.....)

I posted on Apple forums about it - Someone said run AHT (come back fine) but did notice that it didn't pickup a voltage on one of the hardware profiles..

Had it part today and done all the above and still no luck. May have to scrap it. Unless I can pickup a new logic board (main board)

Can't see it overheating within 30 seconds of turning it on. Will strip it and reset cpu on Monday

We swapped the hd for a new SSD and still the same. Will try SMC on Monday.

can be after the turn on sound or half way though booting. Checked for dust bunnies ands clean.

We got a MacBook Pro which randomly turns off. We've checked HD/Charger and still no luck. Any ideas before we skip it?

I will add: We only had faults with the first batch of these. We got 2 other computer rooms with same board and they been fine.

We had this with stone computers with Intel DH61WW motherboards. Sometimes resetting the CPU/Ram will help or as above its a PSU or motherboard fault.

Im going to say overkill with an i5. We still use 2nd gen i3 with SSD and its good enough for the kids to use. Our photography/DT graphics computers have 6th Gen i5 with 16GB ram and 1TB HDD and that's fine for them. (bit over kill but wanted to make sure they last 5+ years)

Just wondered who do you use for you computer suppliers? We are looking round this year to replace one of our rooms and wondered who you use for your computers.
