I know Veeam can do this. Just on the cloud side of things. Does it include the licence for Veeam etc.. ?

Hello, I know this gets covered often, But looking at cloud backups We are still a RM network and only have a single host with 3 VM's from what i can see, No physical backup server and only Windows Server Backup... What software and online backup storage/software provider are you using and a estimated cost. I would like a physical backup server/storage onsite that also uploads to cloud solution (Not sure if that's doable or a thing) Thanks *Yes RM network. Just started here and would love to remove it. But not got enough time to plan and replace let alone budget for this summer *

Hello Does anyone know what the commands are to run/enable QOS on a VLAN on a Aruba 6300M? Got issues with VOIP phone quality/cutting in and out. I used to know the commands on the 2920/2930 but that is a different OS compared the the 6300 Thanks Newp

Evening all We started to get issues with our IP phones dropping in and out. We have a hosted 3CX with a SBC running internally for our phones to connect to. Our edge switches are a mix of Unifi's Enterprise and Pro Max's. Our core switch is a 2x Aruba 6300 24 SFP+ Currently our phones are on the server or station vlan. (There is not enough network socket in some parts of the school and this will be addressed when time allows) i plan to moves the phones to a spare vlan. Once I get this setup.. We have checked our Firewall, internet and 3CX connections and there is no issues from that side. Internal and external calls you can't hear the other person or it goes delayed. Has anyone managed to get QoS or priority setup with the above? Hope it makes sense. Starting to drive me wild... I've checked our CCTV cameras and make sure muticast is turned off

Hello We have 1:1 with year 8's and we have had a few laptops come up to us with WiFi issues. The card appears in device manager with a fault. Normally failed to start. We removed/uninstalled the driver (including Bluetooth Driver) and install latest one from Intel and ASUS website and reboot and it appears working again. 24hrs laptop the card back in a fault status, Has anyone else had this issues? we had to loan them a USB Nano WIFI card for the time being to get them working as we got no spares We have a few going though RMA though easy4U but they are taking 4+ weeks. Thanks

Veeam - Copy Full Backup to Second Location
newpersn replied to newpersn's topic in Enterprise Software
Thank you - I was trying to avoid that. Glad the jobs are not massive (8tb in total) -
As the title says to by honest. Wanting Veeam to copy full backup to a NAS, after the full backups. Currently it only copying the restore points and not the full backup that it creates on the weekend. I'm sure it something simple I'm missing but i cant see it. Thanks Newp

New core switches with new vLans Added the SCCM server already in with the file path on 067 I have spend most of the morning fixing this - Managed to get it to boot in to SCCM without asking for the "enter key" being touched. Not sure how though..
-
I should add. Timeout value on SCCM is 5 seconds. Video attached. 20250723_153747_1.mp4

Hello We just had some network work done and trying to fix our SCCM server pxe boot so we can reimage our IT Rooms, I have added options 066 and 067 in and the server tries to pxe boot, The option to enter OSD goes too quick. (Not even tapping enter allows me to get there) In the working scope i only have 066 set and that works without issue. In the new scope i have tired with and without 067, Sever name and ip address. I have added the new ip range in the sccm boundaries. Computer will boot in to Windows and work as normal. (I get ip address, Ping servers and internet works) I have took a video but slightly too big to upload here currently. Any ideas?

Thank you. How are you finding them? We are currently torn between these and unifi currently. Just waiting for muti gig to come out so we can compare costs etc... Thanks Michael.

Anyone running cambium switches? These have been recommended to us as well. But no 24/48 port muti-Gig switches yet.

Hello Just starting to write our Intune Policy's for our 1:1 devices. Would anyone be able to share there policy's to save me reinventing the wheel. Thanks in advance. Newp

We got a 2x Aruba CX 6300M SFP+ switches going in during the summer which will be our core. Wifi is Cambium. All our APs are either 2.5g or 5g Unfi was near the top of my list and makes sense when they got a 48 port POE+ 2.5g enterprise switch for around £1100. Not had any issues with Aruba 2500 and 2900 series switches in the past. (Other the switch underpowering a door controller we got 2 IT rooms running though some old 2530 switches and they are more reliable than the Mikrotiks.
-
Hello all, I would like to know what switches are you running in your cabinets? Currently have Mikrotik switches running SWOS and they often lock up. (FW on latest release) Would like to start moving away from these, Would like POE, Muti-Gig for our AP's but unsure if we get budget next year for this...

Looking at current - I'm not got anything near the range I'm trying to setup. I cant see anything above range that has been setup.
