i would post my comments on serco. but i dont think i can post these sort of things on this message board i could give you a list as long as my arm and more for reasons NOT to go with serco. Just talk to some of the long standing customers to find out what i mean.

I know some of you are steam users so i thought i would let peeps know i have managed to put together a fully working version of dod 3.1 beta on steam http://dod.wippiespace.com/dod31_4_steam.exe Not sure if any of you are dod players but if you are you know that 3.1b was the best version ever i have also setup a steam group Steam Community :: Group :: Day Of Defeat 3.1 which is growing really fast so if you fancy some old skool dod come join in the fun. PS anyone got any spare hdd space and bandwidth let me cos im sure my boss is going to kill me when he finds out im hosting the server on our network

Yep got 11d on ours i think, and yes it did require outlook, and unlike exchange 2003 it did not moan about the outlook install. all works well.

This is driving me nuts i have tried all sorts now deploying via policies, tried user and computer and both still intermittent on the workstations ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:mad::mad:

Any one using this as we are about to invest. needs some feedback from users and admins. thx

I too have had nothing but trouble with Vista and printer scripts It seems so random and i cant find the fix i currently use a vb script using addwindowsprinterconnection and its works 90% of the time. ITS DRIVING ME NUTS

been using it since easter of last year. had me pulling my hair out i can tell ya during then install mind you there was little or no users so most of it i worked out on my own. we went from a exchange 2000 to 2007 and omg if you can avoid it i recommend you do, i don't there are many issues from 2003 to 2007. but i can now say with almost a year in place it does work much better that the others. there are some great features, and what they left out they have put into SP1.

Hi just replaced our IT suite with 25 new HP 2300 Vista Business all GPO are working fine apart from one. IE Home page if once a user is logged on and you do a gpupdate /force, it then inforces the policy, and the home page changes. any ideas ?????? PS list of polices No last logon Desktop redirect Proxy settings No desktop change No save to desktop No change to menu Desktop background Printers im sure there are more, but i cant remember off the top of my head !!! Easy fix for this is to setup a Proxy PAC file on your DHCP server This way you can setup up your Group policy to setup IE to use 'Automatically detect settings' This is how i do it on our network. here is a link to some usefull info http://www.freeproxy.ru/en/free_proxy/faq/wpad.htm Hope that heps
