All printers are setup using standard TCP/IP port and all point and print permissions are set correctly its all a bit odd this, and only happens on vista clients...

When adding network printers to our windows vista clients from a standard 2003 server acting as a print server with HP printers the error 'The specified port is unknown' comes up, it seems very random and intermittent, but is happening more and more any pointers !!

Required to work 37 hours per week. 52 weeks per year No holidays then bit harsh that !!

Anyone got a spare lying around the workshop ?

let us know what you hear on this

would be nice to know for sure what they are up to.....

We have just heard on the grapevine that serco will not be supporting the independent sector in the near future. Has anyone else heard this..........

Please ignore this stupid thread i relised what i posted now !!

Not sure how many people here know but surfprotect does not filter any secure browser sessions 443 so if the site contains a secure area you can directly access. ie facebook and the likes

If I said on here what I thought of Serco, it would get me banned for sure..... And what I have to say is FACT not hearsay just look up Amesbury School Rob !

I'm just glad we don't have to upgrade haven't done for about 2years now. i know for a fact every time the release they mess up... it must be in there policy.
