what would you recommend then as a update? So that the G&T marker on the SLASC is updated to the current assessment the teachers are filling in via ePortal?

Hi im looking for the table & fieldname that the "Gifted & Talanted" marker is located in? To view the G&T tick box in CMIS you do the following: Students >> Views >> School Census View then click on the 'Other Details' tab The reason i ask is the last person to update the G&T marker on CMIS did it manually (1300 students 8O ), i have the teachers updating an assesment on ePortal at the moment that idicates if the student is G&T but that wont update the G&T marker on the student record, but only on the exam that i linked to the assessment Mark

Hi again sorry for all the questions today but im learning more off here than Serco Support we had someone from Serco come in and design a bunch of finance reports for us but these need tweaking to suit. Now these reports are diffferent to the others as the and a subscript 'S' next to the icon. i have since tried to edit these files but the 'Ok' button is greyed out. even if i try and export and import to different folder they are still greyed out Anybody else get this? any solutions?

Hi Ive been asked by our IT team to see if there is an automatic way to backup CMIS on a daily basis? they are currently using the Data >> Backup option but doing it manually everyday and its taking up ~400mb each time they backup 8O The SQL Server that CMIS runs on is backed up daily to along with the file servers etc... So 2 questions 1) Is there any need to backup via CMIS if the SQL server is backed up everynight 2) Is there an automated way to backup via CMIS? Mark

no m8 i mean you would of thought they would of created the option for us to sign up to - i have not signed up to a mailing list i got this email after my manager was on the phone with Serco discussing the error code we had for the census

@ Limbo this was from serco midlands support you would of thought that you could sign up to a mailing list for changes to the downloads page :!:

cheers Andy it was an ePortal issue and the restart added the right template Surely you dont have to restart ePortal everytime you make a change to an assessment??
