  1. Hi EduGeeks! We're delighted to be sponsoring the MIS Forum. For those who don’t know us, we provide SIMS integrated school-home Messaging and Payments software (to around 2,000 schools). Our customers tell us they like our: - Seamless integration with SIMS (uses SIMS data) - Ease of implementation and use - Our commitment to customer support (95% of our customers rate our service as ‘great’) We look forward to being involved in the Forum and we’re hoping that once you know us better, you’ll consider us when you next review your Messaging or online parents Payments systems. PLUS: We have some exciting announcements to make in a few weeks’ time. We’re looking forward to sharing them and you’ll be the first to hear!
  2. Hi Gongalong You can also get this information from Schoolcomms itself. In the Management area, click on Management Reports and run the report called 'Registered Users'. You can save this report and then it's easy to filter the results to show just the pre-admission students. Give us a call if you want any more information. Schoolcomms Support
  3. I hope that Schoolcomms can grow with you Max Power. Schoolcomms can already bulk send exam and curriculum timetables directly from SIMS. (click to see below) And your timing is great because we are working right now on adding the functionality to attach Profile and Assessment Manager reports in the same way. It will be available this year (probably for the start of the Autumn term, but I don't want to promise that until we are a little further on with the development). We will also be adding the facility to write messages back to the SIMS Communications Log in the same release.
  4. Just to clarify - Schoolcomms does have the functionality to e-mail all (or in fact just today's) teachers of a student or group of students. If you need any more help with this then give our support team a call and they can talk you through it.
  5. Graham - you know we don't keep any secrets from you. Or anyone else, either! The Parents Evening System is a great system - pop over to see us at BETT and we'll give you a tour.
  6. I don't think we have charged a single customer for training in 2012. We only charge for training in exceptional circumstances - generally only if a school wants repeated onsite training for a large number of users. As the other posts here show, the vast majority of our users become completely confident in all aspects of the software during their free trial. We consider the quality of our support as something which really distinguishes us, and this is completely free for as long as you are a customer. Regards Schoolcomms
  7. Hi there, Sorry to hear you are having problems streaming Schoolcomms using Xenapp 6. We've not really had any exposure of schools streaming Schoolcomms but we were able to find some details on a Citrix blog: “.Net: Application Streaming can’t handle .net getting installed as part of Application, so install it locally on Profiler and Client, if application needs it. Make sure you have similar versions of .Net on Profiler & Client and have the version that particular application needs.” Hopefully this might help you resolve the problem but if you are still having problems, please don't hesitate to call us on 0844 445 7147 and we'll help in any way we can. Kind regards, James Schoolcomms Support
