Hello, I have a problem with outlook 2010 /Exchange 2010. In outlook if you try to set an automatic reply then it errors saying: 'your automatic reply settings could not be displayed because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later.' It works when going through OWA. Ideas anyone?

Just to annoy me I changed the password of the account back to what it was before and also changed the deployment workbench passwords back and it works straight away? Any help would be grand.

okay, changed administrator password and now the deployment wont work. On the client it says: "a connection to the deployment share (DEPLYOMENT LOCATION) could not be made. Connection OK. Possible cause: invalid credentials. Seems obvious to me, i have changed the password in the rules on deployment workbench and in the bootstrap.ini file but still no joy. Any other places it should be changed?

Nothing wrong with smart tools and the floating tool box. Plus we have re-imaged before installing new smart. Also for some reason when i open up smart ink from the start menu it opens one floating box on the tool bar which is perfect what i want. It also opens up another smart ink floating box in the middle of the screen right in the way. If i stop the process 'smart ink' then it removes both of the boxes. Argh

okay. I have an update, for smart 11 its called 'smart ink' but for some reason it doesn't turn on when teachers login. I can start it but as it was said it has horrible post it note type actions. I also haven't found where to add applications to the list for smart ink to be aware of the pens?

Hi all, Wasn't sure where to post this. We have smart 11 the latest version. On all of our smart boards our pens will only write on the notebook software its self. When you are on any other screen and pick up a pen even though it registers the pen is out it will still only use the mouse cursor. Is this by design or can we help the grumpy teachers? Ta

Yeah, i just have no idea what to do. I just want more qualifications to continue my career. I feel my technical knowledge is good. I had a go at the CCNA when i was at school and completed two semesters but lost interest as you have to renew every three years. I would like to do some Microsoft certifications but have no idea where to start etc. I think there may be an opening for the network managers position in the next few years as the current one is near to retirement and don't want to miss out on the opportunity because of my qualifications.

I really want to get a few more qualifications under my belt however i will only be able to do it part time/in my own time as i need the money i am already getting to be able to survive. Which is why i am swaying towards the open university. I have had a quick look and something along the lines of this: Computing and IT practice foundation degree specialising in networking Qualification Pathway - X15 Foundation Degree in Computing and IT Practice - Open University Opinions please, this one is a foundation degree (i really have no idea if this will be worth it or now). Does anyone have any other options for me? I am currently an IT Tech but looking to become a network manager. Hence the degree issue.

Hello, Is there a simple way to set permissions on staff folders? I want to bulk set all the staff folders to have security permissions to the staff member the folder belongs to?

Right quick question, Is it possible to add as an application add on for lite touch a set of MSI's that will run from a batch file? Basically we have safeguard for our desktops around school to encrypt everything and annoy all our staff it seems, but everytime we re image a pc we need to install it again, currently we have setup a tick box to add office 2010 to the install but that is done from the install files and a silent install through Deployment workbench, and i cant see a way do this with the 4 MSI's that we have at the moment. We use the batch file to run the MSI's. Any help would be appreciated.

Id rather not distract my self while driving, im thinking some sort of remote would work as i dont have to look at the buttons etc?

Hello, Right i am looking for a bluetooth remote that will connect to my iphone when in my car to change skip the song that is playing. I plug iphone via aux but i have to either change the track whilst driving which i don't like to or lump it. Does anyone do something similar or know someone/something that will work for this? IE. i need links to products.

I am getting really confused where i am looking on the website also lol. Links would be great.
