Hello, I have a website that works on firefox and chrome fine. IE is having issues. When you go to the website address without the www it works in IE however when u put DomainIt: Domain Name Registration, Domain Transfers, Domain Backorder it doesnt. I have domain mapping set to the correct location and address. Am im missing something or should something be added?

Works a treat if i login as an admin but if i login as staff it wont install the program says doesnt have the sufficient privileges. Even though they should? MEH "do not have sufficient access to complete this installation for all users of the machine" its because of the "all users of the machine" part. Any work arounds?

Hello, I am having trouble trying to install clicker 6. I would normally use the MSI but i need to change some options which i have done and tested via a batch file but i need to deploy via GP somehow and let it only apply once? I have tried to do it by task schedule but it picks up the task and says it runs and completes but then for some reason doesn't install the software? Any other ideas would be great otherwise I will have to pop round to everyone's Laptops to upgrade which would be tedious.....

I cannot move or copy the individual files. I am trying a folder copy. Funny thing is it will let me delete them with no warning but then when i go to refresh they appear again?

Okay. I have a user that has some files that are set as 0KB not really the issue but no point in them being there. Issue is that somehow neither the user or an admin account is set as the owner. Meaning i cannot delete them it keeps on saying i need permission from the owner etc. I cannot see the permissions or take ownership. Any ideas? Is there a program i can use or command line to take ownership? Issue is that our backup has an error because of these files and i'm petty and want it to be fully successful.

Safetynet. I could put proxy bypass on and problem solved but I would rather not as that leaves the computers open. I have put the website variations into the proxy bypass list but they do not help, only when you remove the proxy test and it works then put proxy back on and it works still...

Hello, We use a website called rapid-plus.co.uk We also have a proxy that we use but it can be turned off for testing. The website is basically reads books to the pupils but for some reason it doesn't read. It gets stuck. However when you turn off the proxy and try again it works fine. The final puzzle is that if you put the proxy back on it still works? Am I missing something here? The website is in the proxy exceptions in LAN Connections... I am very stumped.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I think that it should be a wired connection as I don't want it losing signal. Also can anyone suggest one with a storage box included to record as I don't want to have SD card and my NAS is currently dead and don't think i want to replace it.

Looks good @sdc how good is it at recording 24/7 to a storage device? I wanted to refrain from using a computer to record as don't always leave it on. Plus I'm not trekking up to the roof to recover the micro card =)

Hello, Need some advise on IP based cameras. I am looking to install one externally on the roof of my property to look over the cars etc I just wondered if anyone knew anything about this or personally have one fitted? It needs to be accessible from the internet and be pretty good camera as it will be quite high. Infa-red for night time viewing and ability to record 24/7 preferably coming with a recording box that can be easily linked to the network at home? It would be bonus if it can be controlled/moved around digitally as its quite a big front garden. Any help would be great. I am having issues booting into network or a USB device with Windows 8 on. Laptop is a HP 4340s and as far as i can see everything looks fine in bios, USB and network ticked but i get the following message: "an error occurred with the boot selection verify media if present and retry" Any help would be great.

Hello, Is there anyway to stop icons/the desktop for the public desktop to show up when a user logs in. I have the desktop redirected to a server path but im still seeing the public desktop. I can do it by enabling the gp "remove common program groups from start menu" but i want to keep the start menu really. Thanks
