Checking public Ip connectivity from net2 client

This is the Paxton documentation - https://www.paxton-access.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/AN1006.pdf But I don't think you are going to be able to "just add it" to your server -as it would wipe out the existing configuration and the other company wouldn't be very happy. Can't you just get the other company to add your tokens to there system? -
A copy and paste / merge of a couple of scripts I found - but seems to do what you want? ; GLOBAL SETTINGS =============================================================================================================== #Warn #NoEnv #SingleInstance Force OnExit, EOF ; SCRIPT ======================================================================================================================== SessionChange(true) return ; FUNCTIONS ===================================================================================================================== SessionChange(notify := true) { static WTS_CURRENT_SERVER := 0 static NOTIFY_FOR_ALL_SESSIONS := 1 if (notify) { if !(DllCall("wtsapi32.dll\WTSRegisterSessionNotificationEx", "ptr", WTS_CURRENT_SERVER, "ptr", A_ScriptHwnd, "uint", NOTIFY_FOR_ALL_SESSIONS)) throw Exception("WTSRegisterSessionNotificationEx", -1) OnMessage(0x02B1, "WM_WTSSESSION_CHANGE") } else { OnMessage(0x02B1, "") if !(DllCall("wtsapi32.dll\WTSUnRegisterSessionNotificationEx", "ptr", WTS_CURRENT_SERVER, "ptr", A_ScriptHwnd)) throw Exception("WTSUnRegisterSessionNotificationEx", -1) } return true } WM_WTSSESSION_CHANGE(wParam, lParam, Msg, hWnd){ static init:=(DllCall( "Wtsapi32.dll\WTSRegisterSessionNotification", UInt, A_ScriptHwnd, UInt, 1) && OnMessage(0x02B1, "WM_WTSSESSION_CHANGE")) If (wParam=0x6 || wParam=0x7){ ;Logoff or lock Run, powercfg -change -monitor-timeout-ac 1,,Hide ;Set monitor standby timeout to 1 minute SendMessage,0x112,0xF170,2,,Program Manager ;Monitor Standby } Else If (wParam=0x5 || wParam=0x8){ ;Logon or unlock Run, powercfg -change -monitor-timeout-ac 20,,Hide ;Set monitor standby timeout to 20 minutes } } ; EXIT ========================================================================================================================== EOF: SessionChange(false) ExitApp

In the past we have used https://imazing.com/heic Pretty much got everyone to change iPad setting back to "Most compatible" though.

Could use an Autohotkey script to block mouse input unless shift is held down? #SingleInstance force #InstallMouseHook BlockInput, MouseMove ~Shift:: while GetKeyState("Shift", "P") { BlockInput, MouseMoveOff } BlockInput, MouseMove return Escape:: ExitApp Return

I'll be honest - I have no idea. Just noticed that all the ones that seemed to stop working were of one type and all the working ones were of a differenet type. So bought some replacements from ebay and they worked first time.
-
Several of ours stopped work one day and the only way to solve it was to replace the cables. Dont Work: Do work:

I have been asked to facilitate this and am struggling for ideas. Below is an example of an application form. Teaching_Application_Form.docx They want the candidates to fill it online. Not be a pdf (if possible). Have the ability to "grow" if certain sections require further information. Look like the attached application when they come to read it. Something like Forms is too simple and some kinda Power Automate mashup potentially has me on the hook for updating it forevever.

Something SuperMicro ? https://www.bargainhardware.co.uk/refurbished-servers/supermicro-servers

We purchase the MFD outright from Konica (found no one else can touch them on pricing) and then pay per click for toner, servicing etc. We use a third party to supply Papercut as Konica was a lot more expensive. Never had any problems (might help we own the MFD's) .

Sometimes I do think Microsoft 365 makes hard work of things... Compare and contrast Zimbra (New mail notifications) and Microsoft (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/client-developer/exchange-web-services/get-started-with-ews-client-applications)
-
Cheers, was hoping it was going to be an easy thing like ticking a box I had missed
-
I have been looking at this all afternoon, but can't find the answer.... Governors have an office 365 address, but would like notification of new email sent to their personal address. Not a forwarded copy, just notification. How do you do this?
-
Oh, its fine now, they provisioned more capacity - but that can often be a slow process. My first conenction was back in the blueyonder days, and like you say, when it works it generally is ok. It isjust when it is not working it can be a nightmare.
-
Virgin seems to be fine - until they have oversubscribed your area and not provisioned any extra capacity, then you are doomed. I had about 6 months were the internet was unusable from about 18:00 until 22:00 and all they would say is "Sorry, we are working on it "
-
It's nice to have choices.... I live in Birmingham, and have the choice of Virgin or a guaranteed 6-11 Mbps

They seem to judge eligibility on the information submitted to: https://form.education.gov.uk/service/educational-setting-status

At Trust level I can nominate a school contact and they can order (annoyingly I can't be Trust contact and School contact). There should have been an email: Dear colleague, The Department for Education (DfE) is providing laptops and tablets for disadvantaged children in certain year groups who are affected by disruption to face-to-face education at their school due to coronavirus (COVID-19). You can now let schools order their own devices. We recommend doing this because it’s the quickest way to get help to those who need it. What we need from you Use the Get help with technology service to give us contact details for people who will order laptops and tablets for schools. An account has been created using https://get-help-with-tech.education.gov.uk/start You need to use this to give us contact details for: schools who will manage their own orders, or representatives from XXX if you decide you want to manage orders centrally If you would like someone else to complete this information, you can invite additional users. If you’re managing the process on behalf of schools, we suggest you contact them with details about the offer, and tell them how they can include devices in their planning for coronavirus restrictions. What happens next Nominated contacts will get an email explaining the ordering and delivery process. They’ll also be able to see the number of laptops and tablets allocated to the school(s) they’re ordering for. Devices will only be available to order when local coronavirus restrictions are confirmed, or if devices need to be requested for clinically extremely vulnerable children who are shielding following official advice. Email [email protected] if you have any questions about the programme, or wish to opt out. Regards, The Digital Infrastructure Team They are pretty good at reply if you email them. iPads arrived 1 day after ordering.

Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable. Never seen that before

Interesting. Once got the WEEE recycyling pile stolen and the insurance paid new for old! Had to argue with a supplier as they refused warranty as the laptop was "marked", eventually they backed down. Never had a recovery though
