  1. Sorry for the echo but I can also recommend LoveFilm I've had an account of over 3 years and I'm very happy with them, a few times that either a disc has been delivered damaged or gone missing there service has been great and easy to use with replacement disc being sent out without question or inconvenience. My only issue with them is that recently many of the films that I want to watch are listed as "This title is unavailable for rental" which is VERY annoying.
  2. Does anyone know if there is such as thing as a very short mains plug to Clover Leaf power cable adaptor? I'm not looking to extend the cable, just modify the plug end. The shortest I've been able to source is 2M but that's way too long. Any ideas?
  3. I've manged to answer my own question! I found a nice bit of software called ADManager Plus that did the job for me, there is a free version as well as a more powerful paid for version - I used the free one.
  4. I need to modify a couple of hundred accounts within a single OU so that the "Allow inheritable permissions from parent to propagate to this object" check box is checked. Does anyone know a way to do this automatically?
  5. I'm still running Donut on my Android and was looking at upgrading my phone to support Froyo - I would have thought that Froyo would now have proxy support!
  6. I have a Honda Blackbird http://www.rigsville.org.uk/photos/160809-11.jpg
  7. jinnantonnix, I've ran the Activity Monitor and it is showing the following: Processor: 98% Waiting Tasks: 5 (max 22) Database I/O: 0.1 MB/sec (max 2.0) Batch Req: 5 (Max30) Looking at the processes it shows me the processes but how can I tell which one(s) are hammering it? BTW Thanks to everyone's swift replies
  8. teejay - I will see if I can hold of the 6635 patch and let you know what I find.
  9. I'm also having major problems with our SQL 2008 SIMS server being very slow, in our case the SQLSERVR.EXE process is almost always running at 100% CPU usage. I've followed this thread with interest and performed the tests and blocking reports as already discussed and cannot find any reason. Running SQL 10.0.1600.22 Standard with SIMS and FMS databases. Any advice?
  10. FN-GM I have not tried it on a webserver as I want to put the PAC file locally onto some laptops - it's supposed to work as a local file. Steve - Thanks for your script but it didn't work even on Firefox or Opera (after changing the IP to suit) - but if I put my original code back into the PAC file it works in Firefox and Opera - it's just IE8 that I'm having a problem with. Note: I understand that IE caches some of this information so between tests I'm running CCleaner.
  11. "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" - If I manually enter the proxy server address and port it works. I've also ran PACtester and that reports the proxy correctly - it seems as if there's some change to the way IE8 uses PAC files?
  12. I'm also having a problem with Proxy PAC files I was hoping someone might be able to help me with? My PAC file is located in C:\proxy.pac and both Firefox and Opera work perfectly but IE8 fails, any ideas? function FindProxyForURL(url, host) { //Declare proxy strings as variables if (isInNet(myIpAddress(), "10.242.0.0", "255.255.0.0")) { return "PROXY 10.242.163.88:8080"; } else return "DIRECT"; }
  13. Sirbendy, sorry to be a pain but would you still have the MX04 serialisation hotfix? Thanks
  14. I know this post is a little old now but I've just started seeing this problem, any further news?
  15. Thanks for everyone's comments - I've spoken to a few of the companies mentioned and I'm in the process of sorting out a few quotes.
  16. Can anyone recommend a large scale On-line backup solution? I'm not talking about Drop-Box, Carbonite etc but a fully managed, multi Terra-byte solutions such as those offered by Iron Mountain?
  17. Another vote for Acronis!
