Hi all, I've been on here a good few years - used the site for numerous helps and tips - but now I'm looking for something rather important. I am currently based in Plymouth, but I need to find a job working in IT in Scotland. Particularly in or around the Dundee/Perth area. It's the usual situation, meet the love of your life and they live 500 miles away. Having spoken to a Network Manager from the local area down here this morning, I know that I'm not alone in that! I am a confident, capable and dependable member of the IT profession who is keen to take on anything that is going within the field. I am looking to move and start the new job ASAP - after my 4 weeks notice period at the school I currently work in. I find myself in the unfortunate position that I have lots of experience, but no paperwork to back it up, aside from the FITS (akin to ITIL) certification - which has hit me pretty hard in the job application process. I am really keen to meet possible employers so I can show what I can do. I run, lead and manage the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold expedition scheme in the school, so have plenty of leadership and experience of working in adverse conditions, which will hopefully work in my favour. I know that it's a long shot, but I am happy to pursue and leads that come in, as I'm really keen to get myself up there, where I need to be. I have a CV ready to send off if anyone has any ideas? Arwen and I have. Standard. Deluxe was crazy money...

Arwen and I played it for 27 hours over the weekend. A few buggy quests, but otherwise great gameplay. Ran great on my 6 year old gaming machine (8800GTS 512, 4gb ddr2 1066 and core 2 duo 3.2ghz).

I travel 10 miles by Motorbike from Dartmoor down into Plymouth. Takes about 25 minutes on a good day, 35 on a bad one. It's nice on sunny days, and just about bearable on wet ones. I hope that helps!

We run XP on a CC4 network. Looking to go to 7 in a year or so - Because of all the bugs, Vista was simply never an option.

Anyone packaged this for CC4? We've just been quoted £600 for RM to build us one, but funds are short - as usual!

It was strangely exciting to find these... (8 in total). The 6th form class and Latin teacher nextdoor were quite confused by our enthusiasm over, and I quote.. "a couple of bits of plastic"... They called us 'sad' - They are learning a dead language, as we're sad?!?
