Did you check it was being picked up in Disk Management? I've had issues where Windows hasn't assigned a drive letter to a removable drive, resulting in nothing showing up in My Computer. If it shows in Disk Management, you can manually assign a drive letter.

Top of my head, Excel is checking the value in the first cell of the merge (let's call it A1) and applying CondF to that. When it changes, it's not recognising this in the other cell (B1 for example) I think you either need to make sure the Cond F range covers each of the individual cells involved in the merge (A1:B1) or add a formula to a cell nearby to handle the True/False, applying Cond F based on that. For instance, if A1 and B1 are merged, then in C1 you could put =A1="ORDER PLACED" Then you add the Cond F as a formula, pointing at the control cell i.e. =C1 When C1 is TRUE (i.e. text reads "ORDER PLACED"), this Cond F will be applied, so set the green BG Then add a second Cond F formula, =NOT(C1) When C1 is FALSE, this Cond F will be applied.

Except Windows updates are now free too, viruses do exist for Mac, they're just not as common (watch that change now it's public knowledge that the government is giving all MPs Apple devices) and Microsoft have always been up front about how long they'll support their products and actually supported XP for years after they initially promised.

Yeah US corporation law has a lot to answer for. It's (apparently, believably) standard practice for US based corporations to have a lawyers and accountants analyze which laws to obey and which to break to maximize profits - often the sanctions/fines for breaking laws amount to a fraction of the increased profits by breaking them! HSDPA+ (I don't own a 4G phone) - but are we talking the same metrics here? Usually, network speeds are expressed in terms of bits, disk transfer in terms of bytes. I get 6 Megabits download, which equates to 0.75 Megabytes (750KB).

Don't get me wrong, I lay the blame squarely at the feet of our government. My point was actually supposed to agree with yours; publicly MPs might be quoted as talking about what a rotten lot these tax dodgers are, but they're doing absolutely nothing to stop it, so they clearly have ulterior motives.

I'm all for saving money and being more environmentally friendly by cutting down printing. However, I'd like to know why the decision was made to buy iPads and laptops (presumably also Apple) rather than a Surface Pro 3 (or similar) each - laptop and tablet in one, Windows based so more easily managed centrally, cheaper overall cost... If there's some legitimate reason for the choice then fair enough, but I suspect it's just "because Apple". I am glad that at least the shadow cabinet minister Chi Onwurah has questioned this choice and that she's pushing for a device agnostic platform - that's the best solution really. Then more suitable, business laptops can be bought for MPs and if they want to use iPads they can buy their own!

All you can eat data is quite a perk though, don't get that for less than £40 p/m on any other network that I know of and even then there's often a 2~4GB cap in the small print. Also, the "free" (using your contracted allowance) calls/texts while in foreign countries is a big perk if you travel. Free 4G I think might be unique to Three too. Oh yeah and free calls to 0800 numbers from your mobile... Hopefully the merge with O2 will mean the ability to connect to either network's masts, meaning improved coverage

The laptop I'm getting has a marginally faster 2.3GHz i5, so it may just be playable... Then again it's a couple of generations older so it may actually be worse in terms of GPU performance.

I have Netflix, and for that I use the app on the PS4/TV to access UK Netflix and installed Hola for Firefox on my HTPC to get access to US Netflix. (It works in Chrome too, but I found the playback of full screen video in Chrome a bit stuttery, Firefox seems much smoother to me)

If they'd consider a refurb machine, you can get some stunning deals on business laptops ~18 months old - I just picked up a Thinkpad T420 for £165 with dual core i5, 1600x900 display (the lower res 1366x768 is much more common) and 4GB RAM. I'll probably spend another £150 upgrading memory and adding an SSD, bagging me a pretty decent laptop for £300. That said, Thinkpads aren't for everyone - they're chunky, ugly beasts! Beauty of them is you can replace just about everything - I was speaking to one guy who built one entirely from salvaged parts! You can even replace the CPU in them; I'm considering dropping a quad core i7 in mine, but going to see if it's really necessary once it has an SSD first.

I haven't looked at Windows 10 in a while, is it stable enough to use as a day to day OS now? Have a new laptop on the way and was thinking of shoving 10 on to it... Also, anyone know if these previews will upgrade to release or will a fresh install be necessary (as it was with 7 and 8)?

As the error suggests, that line of code is trying to access an element in the array that is out of range i.e. it's trying to access an index higher/lower than the bounds of the array. Try adding in a print statement just before the line that causes an error that will print the index it's trying to access, this may give you a clue as to where the error occurs (probably when the ball is at the edge of the screen) If you repost the code, but wrap it in 'code' tags, you might have more luck getting help as the copy/paste above won't run at all due to lack of indenting Wrap all your code in code tags (without the spaces between tags): [ code]Your code here [ /code]
