getting exactly the same guys with 1 device that we had replaced by apple recently and cant enrol.

Hi Guys Have enrolled 32 ipads recently in meraki and all ok. I had to return one to apple as broken and when I try to enrol this one with the certificate for a while now just get a SCEP invalid response error. any ideas please thanks

thanks smidsy that's a great help. The school have asked me for an app to replicate the ipad onto PC so it can show up on the IWB. Is there any app you can recommend (free or paid). that's works well.

On another note. Is it possible to prevent pupils from deleting apps and adding pass codes etc within meraki? If so where is this and can't find it. Thanks

Yep all sorted now as per previous post. It was an issue with ASM and MS edge not displaying additional option. Tbaks

Hi Guys I am setting up similar and I can see 32 devices in ASM that say unassigned and when I click on assign to server and click done nothing happens? any ideas please. UPDATE Been on the phone to Apple and apparently an issue using MS Edge Browser. I tried in chrome and after selecting assign to server it then gave me an extra box to select my MDM. Thanks

Hi All Thanks for your input/advice. So I have set up a ASM account and a Meraki. We do not have the iPads yet so I don't suppose tre is anything I can do with this yet? Do I require a VPP account also setting up for the school? What is the best way to mirror to IWB for the teacher PC/iPad? Activ cast OR Reflector or another? Also will we be able to lock down the ipads so that the pupils cannot delete apps or add pin codes etc? If so is this done in Meraki or ASM Thanks

Hi Zhinkler So if I go with DEP and ASM (VPP) I will not need a MAC to configurate devices but all gets done wirelessly? Is this what you mean by supervised?

Hi All I have been asked to look into getting 16 iPad Air2 for a small school. They do not want loads of apps and not to have to purchase a mac etc. Can anyone make any recommendations on the following 1, Charging trolley 2, best way to get the apps on (synch or just standalone) 3, connection to a promethean IWB (not apple TV) 4, printing app 5, best practice to save photos, vids, docs somewhere I would appreciate any advise and if you can think of anything else that may help that would be much appreciated as this will be the first ipads in the school so unsure as to the best way to attack these. Hi Guys I have been looking into this but have had no luck so far. Our wifi network has stopped working on Apple Ipads/Iphones on IOS9. We have no problems with laptops or android. We have a Meru MC1500 controller with 30 x AP320 APs. It recognises the SSID but constantly says wrong password etc which is not the case. This is causing no end of problems and am wondering if someone who has experienced this has found a resolution and could help us out as we would be eternally grateful. I understand meru is no longer and has been taken over by another company. Thanks in advance

Can anyone recommend a laser printer that works with RAV3 for mirror printing so that the end user can log in from home and then print to there own local printer. I have found this to be hit and miss and Atomwide support have not been much help. Thanks

Hi I have been given 10 DVDs and asked to "put them on the networ" for teachers to share. These are active music DVDs that have teaching plans in PDF and accompanying dvd lessons. My issue is that firstly they equate to approx 50Gb of storage required but also I mentioned the issue with bandwidth if multiple users will be accessing these materials at the same time. Obviously also the issue with copyright etc. How do you go about sharing DVDs in your establishments and recommendations for best way to do this. Thanks

Thanks for input guys.....I don't think this has been thought out too well and not even sure if they know what they want them for. I believe they will use free apps only so will not need to purchase a mac just yet. If they are for use of pupils is it really as bad as you say...... So in short they could get away with using iTunes to download apps to the 13 from the same account? Is there not a limit? If they required a Apple specialist/consultant does anyone know one?

Hi I have been asked to source some iPads (yes I know..but this is what they want) and a charging trolley. They want a basic setup and don't want to have to purchase a mac etc to configure and I believe will use apple configurator. Can anyone recommend a decent trolley for storage/charging and an idea of how they would go about synchronising if put apps on one. As there will only be 13 it is not too much of a problem to I presume create an iTunes account and then replicate with apps across to others. Will they require any software or licensing to do this. The drives are identical as is the hardware it was pulled out of. There is no raid configuration set up.

I put in 2 additional disks from a redundant server and after I rebooted so that it recognised them I have noticed that one of them is listed as (Active). Will this mean if I reboot It will not recognise the OS as this resides on C drive. I can't mark the c drive as active as it is greyed out. Any help appreciated

The Head would like a 32" TV/Monitor that will connect to his laptop wirelessly in his office so he can show presentations etc. Has anyone had any experience of setting this up and if so what hardware would be required. Hi I am looking for a free (preferably) help desk solution. It has to be easy for end users (teachers!!) to log issues and I would like to put an icon on there desktop so they can do so. Thanks James I had a few issues when trying to export mailboxes but that was because I failed to reboot after making changes to permissions etc. I was reading somewhere that there is a limit in exmerge of 2GB per mailbox? is this true as I have a few over this size. Thanks

Hi All I have been asked to get rid of an ageing exchange 2003 server and the school would like to migrate to LGfL staffmail. As we have quite a number of mailboxes I was wondering if anyone knows a soultion to migrating the mailboxes to a PST file in bulk rather than have to do individually and create PST then import it back in outlook to the new lgfl account. (do-able but so long winded) Atomwide have said they do not have a migration tool :-( Does anyone know a quick way round this or will I have to just do this manually. Thanks
