  1. She's just very careless with them to be honest. She normally loses them!
  2. Haha, very good @sonofsanta If she took better care of the phones I'd be more inclined to get her something expensive. She's literally on her 5th phone in the last 12 months! This is what she is currently using: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-C3350-Solid-X-Cover-Mobile/dp/B006DV8G3S A OnePlus would be a huge upgrade! In my defence, I've just bought her a £600 saddle for her horse for her birthday, so she won't complain.
  3. What capacity do you need? The Synology Hybrid RAID feature is really useful. You can put different capacity drives into an array and it helps maximise storage capabilities. Not sure if there's a feature like this on the QNAPs? We've got 2 x QNAP 419 Rack NAS devices that haven't missed a beat. At home I've got a 16b, 4 bay Synology DS414 which has also been awesome.
  4. QNAP or Synology are the 2 I'd recommend. QNAPs hardware is probably the slightly better of the 2, but the software is better on the Synology.
  5. I want to see one in my hand before I commit to a £600 device. My partner needs a new phone so I might get the OnePlus for the short term and give it to her if it's massively inferior to the HTC/Samsung. I'm getting married in August so it's pretty irresponsible of me to wax a load of cash I want rather than need. Unfortunately I'm known for irresponsible purchases!
  6. I keep going round in circles too! That's the problem when they're not out yet!
  7. I'm developing a rather unhealthy obsession for looking at phone reviews. I wish the new models were already released so I could take the plunge and move on!
  8. I love it how we're all so weak when it comes to new tech!
  9. Is the OPO not miles better spec than the HTC One M7? I'm still thinking pay the cost and get the M9.
  10. This is has really got me thinking...
  11. This could sway me, as the price difference is just too big to ignore... It was @abillybob's experience that kind of put me off. Anyone can get unlucky with a bad phone, but poor support is unacceptable IMO. What is the build quality like? That's very important to me. I'm tempted to get the OnePlus one to see how I get on with Android first. Then I just think, to h*ll with it, just pay the money and get the HTC! Decisions...
  12. It says iInvalid Attachment specified. Can you give it another go? Will you get a case for your new phone?
  13. Have you looked at GiffGaff? You can buy phone only on monthly fees there if you're happy with your current contract. The APR isn't too bad either.
  14. The HTC skin looks like the nicest of all Android phones in my limited experience.
  15. @ConnorByrne Could you also post a picture of the rear of your M8? I'm starting to think silver is the way to go, providing it's fairly scratch resistant.
  16. I can also vouch for @CPLTD for new kit too!
  17. We've recently picked up a refurb from @ICTDirect_Dave, and I have to say I'm very impressed!
  18. We only buy HP DL rack servers and I can honestly say we have never had any issues. I've had to use the business support once, and it was top drawer.
  19. Is there any mileage in getting the OnePlus and seeing how I get on with Android? Or am I better off just going straight for HTC One or S6? Opinions???
  20. I like to see this kind of thing from a manufacturer. Shows that they're confident in their product. replace broken phone

  22. So @ConnorByrne, are you happy to guinea pig the M9 and report back here for me?? That article on Tweakers was written about pre-release hardware and early software. Will be interesting to see if it's resolved on the final release.
  23. Does look fantastic. A couple of people I know (and one earlier in this thread) have said that after going from iPhone to Android, they miss their iPhone. What's your take on it? I'm just ready for a change. I'm just as excited about going Android as I am about getting the physical new phone.
  24. Everything you say I agree with. I bet whichever I end with I'd be delighted with. The Samsung will have to blow me away to trump the HTC though. Are you at the point of pre-ordering or are you still going to wait?
  25. I did briefly consider the M8. The nerd in me wants the better spec. I'm treat my phones like I do my cars. Spend as much as I can on a handset then run it into the ground!
