Got a really odd issue started today out of the blue. All our network printers are failing to print - error of "failed to print" when sending test page from print server (Server 2003 R2). Server can see printers via IP address. Error in event log - Id 13 - document deleted. Help please!

Got a bit further with this, but when help desk admins attempt to update a ticket, set priority etc nothing happens? Also there is no "assign" button?

Thanks. In the end I've just copied the PDFs out of program files for our Finance Manager to look at. Run as administrator didn't help.

Hi Our Finance Manager wants to start using the FMS facility to store invoices, requisition forms etc electronically. Our local support unit have given me some very general guidance - but just wondered if any of you gurus could talk me through the process - especially setting up the filestream and NTFS folders etc. Also in our FMS going to Help - Documentation doesn't do anything - anyone have any idea why? We've tried using a secondary program for the comment banks then asking staff to copy and paste into the XML spreadsheet - however I was really after something that gave an integrated, easy front end that wrote back to SIMS. Am trying to avoid staff having to do reports in SIMS itself, but may have to rethink this.

Thanks Sylv3r. What we are really after is a system that can pull the student data from assessment manager but present it in an easy format for staff to quickly complete reports..... I know of a few other schools who have done this but they are mostly systems developed in house (which we don't have the time or resources to do...).

Hi At the moment we are using XML spreadsheets exported from SIMS for teachers to write reports, unfortunately has led to problems with lack of comment banks etc. What do other school use for report writing, that integrates with SIMS? Thanks! PS: we know it is theoritically possible to do comment banks etc in SIMS then get staff to write reports there, but are trying to avoid this for various reasons.

Solved! In case it helps anyone else: activate the 3 lines of timeouts in Discover.Warehouse.Service.exe.config and set each to 1500. Restart Discover services and run transfer.
