well, considering I paid 12 quid for it, never had to buy anything from the game store (they dont sell weapons anyway, just random bits) and am getting hours and hours of fun out of it playing with my friends id say you are wrong. And just in case you are a DayZ fan (which I think you are), These games have completely different directions of gameplay and should not be compared aside from being similarly themed.

unfortunately not a lot I can do. It's part of the curriculum for the 6th formers and the school does not have Per User Filtering set up. I find it ridiculous that I must add https versions of sites manually!

Could be that the updates are messing with configuration i've had many problems recently with Windows 7 Updates breaking something. Have you tried disabling and enabling the driver from device manager? or completely uninstalling the driver first so it is not recognized and the re installing it? Dont use windows drivers if you can help it, especially for Audio, Video or chipset. Try to find the driver file attached to the device uninstall it and then delete it from the system 32 folder.

Hey everyone, Has anyone experienced issues with some websites since moving over to LGFL 2.0? I have had problems specifically with Tumblr (Tumblr redirects to https when accessed) Also an issue with certain shopping sites. Browser just said the page cannot be displayed and that's it. It is not being filtered because I have also attempted to add the HTTPS path to the exception list.

Hi there i had the same issue with a few sites i managed to resolve it after much effort hopefully this will help I did a little bit of testing with running processes and realized that if you stop all the USB2VGA software processes everything comes back to normal. To resolve this problem you must do the following: 1.Click Start, Run and type “services.msc” this will open the services screen. 2.Locate the two culprit services that are causing the problem. In this case there are two, “MCTUISvr” and “MCTDesktopSvr”. 3.Stop and Disable these services by right clicking on each one and selecting properties. 4.In the properties window for each process first click the “Stop” button and wait for the process to stop. The from the “Startup Type” drop down select “Disabled” and click the “Apply” button. 5.The processes should now be disabled and you will no longer get the USB2VGA tools coming up in the taskbar. 6.Now to split the screen, just use the standard Windows Display Properties dialog to extend your desktop Hope this is helpful to all of you having this problem.

Energy Dashboard software not working from a shared location
BigRed replied to BigRed's topic in Green Computing
Hi Chris, I am still having issues with the meter and havent been able to make it work from a shared location. It only seems to work if I install application directly on the machine. I tried your Index file with the preloaded settings but it still doesnt work. just gets stuck at the "Detecting Logger" bit. But if I install the app directly it works fine. any suggestions? could it be the browser stopping JS?- 4 replies

Energy Dashboard software not working from a shared location
BigRed replied to BigRed's topic in Green Computing
Thanks Chris, I will give this a go because the issue with IE7 was that it didn't load the window to manually input the ip. The only thing i find really strange is that it detects the meter automatically if installed directly on the machine but as soon as i move the location of the files it looses it. Thanks alot for the workaround thats gonna help me out loads as we 've got around 5 sites with these on, waiting for a network point to be installed nearby- 4 replies

Hi Everyone, I have read some of the previous posts on the Energy Display meter but they all seem to concentrate on the actual device, has nobody had it working at all? I've had them installed successfully in several schools but cannot get the software to work from a shared location. it seems to be a basic web page that uses a java applet to connect to the meter, so theoretically it should be movable......not so it appears and it gets even worse if you are using IE7. If you move the location of the source files it stops automatically detecting the device and in IE7 the page just loops trying to detect it. In chrome you do get a prompt asking for the direct ip address but this is not a browser we use on the network. What I dont understand is that with the installation being pretty dumb and not indicating the network address of the meter why does it complain when moved? Im kinda stuck, any suggestions?

totally agree with you there, i dont know why schools buy these things without consulting anyone first. I have had nothing but trouble with digi blue products from their microscopes to cameras to whatever crap they come up with. unfortunatly they have been bought now and ive got the task to make make it work. after messing around with updates and microsoft hotfixes. I got the cameras to work on the first launch of Movie Creator 3 after a machine restart BUT if you shut down the application and start it again it will come out with the same error. ANY ADVICE PLEEEASE?!?!?! It is for primary school children. -
Can somebody please help me with this problem. been stuck for ages. got all trhe codecs and drivers recommended by DigiBlue and still nothing and i cant find any reference to this error message on the net either. Im really desperate to make this work.

Hi there, Has anybody tried to deploy smart notebook 10.6 yet? Ive tried it using the Install Manager in the same way as previous versions to deploy this to workstations but I ran into a problem on the user side. It seems to crash if a "User" is the first person to run it. If I log in as admin and run it for the first time then its ok. has anybody else ran into this issue? because if i have to do this every time its kinda counter productive Any thoughts? Cheers

Have similar set up but a a single dated ATI card with a DVI and VGA output. i have the dvi going straight into my main monitor vga going into a splitter between second monitor and projector so now i have the projector showing whatever is on my second monitor, no loss of resolutions at all. Using the ati catalyst centere i could manage the resolution on both monitors with no problem both running at 1280x1024. projector works excelent. sorry if im abit late
