  1. Hi, is there a way to enable pure message to send Content Alerts to internal email address's only. At the moment I have it setup to alert the sender when ever banned words are contained within an email. Problem is this also includes the 100`s of spammers sending us crap. Thanks Andy
  2. I would be very interested in this, we are gonna be ordering 20 new mac`s and an xserve. I am very interested in how you make images with windows and osx on. When would this visit be taking place ?

  4. It would be nice if quality control and beta testing were words familiar to certain software companies, we should not all have to do so much hacking around to get software to function on standard networks.
  5. Unfortunately I have software that relies on the latest version of java so downgrading software is not an option. Also I don’t think I should have to downgrade java site wide for one application. Thanks anyway Wildebeaste
  6. Has anyone been able to install e-science software? Without massive amounts of problems? I can’t get the client server version to work at all and the stand alone version is bad in the extreme. Scratch is designed to help young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills. As they create Scratch projects, young people learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the process of design " Andy
  9. Hi, I am currently working in a secondary school in Bristol, I was at university before I started the job and I have a degree in computer science. I am interested in doing an MCSE (windows 2003 server), but I don’t think there is much chance of the school paying. Has anyone here just got the books and taken the exam? Or is this an unrealistic option? Does anyone know of a cheap crash course in the Bristol area? Just after advice about the MCSE in general? Thanks Andy
  10. I run what I would call a normal school network, 2003 Server, Active Directory, with windows XP clients and restricted users (i.e. they can’t write to the hard drive or registry or change settings) and there files are redirected to appear in my docs. Please comment if you think this is strange! I can not get data disk to install what ever I do, I have tried making my own MSI and running from a file server all with varying degrees of failure. The MSI they provided me was for a CC3 network and required me mapping 3 drives on every machine for one program one with write access. They did write me a new MSI but it required write access to registry and hard drive the first time it was run. Software Company In Question are trying to imply that using (redirected) my documents and not allowing write access (for pupils) to the programs home folder is uncommon. Please could I have some comments on this, am I going mad ?
  11. I have recently installed media player 11, and I want to play videos that require AC3 codec, dose anyone have a deployable codec installer for this or any other codec’s?
