Just did this with the latest download and had to add the "ALLUSERS" value. Worked a treat. Cheers for this :)

I had set up a logging and blocking policy for this and put some info in there as I can now get to it asking for my credentials but that was as far as it goes. I was wondering if someone had already done "all the hard work" with the rest of it to save me time. Cheers

Hello Has anyone got the SkyGo app (desktop) working through Senso.Cloud? I have the SkyGo app installed on a Windows 10 desktop machine (without Senso) and jobs-a-good-un, works without a hitch. However, on one of the machines with the Senso.Cloud on it, it will not load. I have got as far as it asking for my credentials but it goes no further, unless I stop the service for Senso.Cloud and then it works fine. Has anyone managed to get it working through Senso, and if so, what settings did you put in Senso to do it? Cheers, Lardboy

Paxton Net2 IPV6 Intercom Video Feed/Routing Issue
Lardboy replied to supra21's topic in Wired Networks
After pulling most of my hair out, I decided to speak to Dell and see if there is anything hidden in the security of new switches that old ones didn't have. It turns out that they do. The Dell engineer logged into my core switches, stopped igmp snooping on the VLAN that we use for the cameras and everything came up. I hope that helps someone as I know how much it bugged the **** out of me. -
Paxton Net2 IPV6 Intercom Video Feed/Routing Issue

Yep...it just doesn't want to work and they are very unhelpful. I have got someone coming out to put a cable in now as it just seems like the easiest option. -
Paxton Net2 IPV6 Intercom Video Feed/Routing Issue
Lardboy replied to supra21's topic in Wired Networks
This is the issue and Paxton Support might just as well have a recorded message that just repeats the word IPV6 over and over again. I have come to the conclusion that running a CAT cable from one building to the other will be much easier than working round switch after switch after switch just to get it working. I just had my fingers crossed that someone had done a better job than Paxton. Cheers K-ITS -
Paxton Net2 IPV6 Intercom Video Feed/Routing Issue
Lardboy replied to supra21's topic in Wired Networks
I still have my old HP switches (swapped out for Dell across the board). When we had our Dell cores go down, we put the old HP cores back in and the gate worked again. The moment the Dell cores went back in, it stopped. We are still IPV4. It just seems like there is something silly on the cores that is not "allowing" the (for want of a better word) signal through but I cannot for the life of me work out what it is rather than it have the need to turn on IPV6. -
Paxton Net2 IPV6 Intercom Video Feed/Routing Issue
Lardboy replied to supra21's topic in Wired Networks
Hello Supra21 Other than doing the IPV6 "answer" (which is the stock goto for Paxton), did you get a work around as since I moved to my new switches, what you are describing is exactly what is happening to me? Cheers -
This may help (hopefully) but we have had similar problems with other laptops where we have installed a flat version of Windows 10 or 8 after deleting all the partitions. Once done, we then run the build manager (not PXE though) but it seems to be able to kick itself in and install.

[sims] Solus3 Unable to download or Deploy any updates
Lardboy replied to bobmanuk's topic in MIS Systems
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you Waiting on support to come back to me with this very urgent problem and nothing but removing the registry keys did the trick. Cheers -
Thanks Doomwatch I have worked out what the answer was today so if any of you out there get this problem, this was the answer: In the C:\Windows directory there is a SIMS.ini file. There is a line that says : SIMSDotNetDirectory= Mine was empty so what I did was add the following to it : C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net (the local install folder for us) After a restart, all was well. Thanks

Hello all. Going round in circles with the helpdesk on this one. We are trying to 'Apply Timetable' and it's coming up with an error that we just can't work out a way round. Firstly I go to 'Tools->Academic Management->Apply Timetable' When I then click through, I get the message 'An error ocurred whilst attempting to Launch the Apply timetable routine' Has anyone got any ideas? We are stumped and at the moment, so are the helpdesk. Thanks

We have given Veracrypt a try and it seems to work like a charm. All I have done so far is just encrypted the system partition and it doesn't seem to affect the boot up (or anything else for that matter). All in testing though but it might be worth a try for you.

Hello I know it's RM Unify in the question but it's also Office and I didn't know which forum to put it in. Bit of a mix here. Just wondering if anyone has managed to get it working. Every day, in the Outlook App (android), RM Unify asks me for my password so I can see my email. Has anyone else had this problem or has anyone found a way round to stop me being asked? Thanks, Gareth

Hello to all. We are having a bit of a problem with either O365 or Office Apps but I don't know which. We are a RM school and we are using RM Unify to get in to Office 365 One Drive Account. I know you might say it's RM which may be the case but I can get to my OneDrive stuff and open it up in the web browser (Chrome - latest version). When I click on the 'Edit document in' option, up pops a few Windows about are you sure etc.. and then (for instance) Excel opens up. I have had 3 things happen so far on different machines in my office: 1 - It opened up Excel and all was well with the world. 2 - It tells me that I need to enter in my Username and Password for O365 and then tells me that you cant do that with this account and won't open the document. 3 - It tells me the server is temporarily down and won't open the document. One of my machines in my office always works with any account that logs on to it. If I then log on with an account that worked on the 'working machine' on another machine in my office, I will get either 2 or 3. It seems to be machine related but then also why would it tell me that my O365 account will not do this when it clearly does on a 'working machine' in my office or that the server is down? Hoping that this makes sense to someone with an answer. Thanks in advance, Gareth

As this is a school and we have a turnover each year, how does the licensing work regards to users as ex amount will leave one year and more will come in. How do you give the license to a new user and take it off the old user? Do you have a licensing control program or something like that?
-
I get that the pupils will have to enter in the google details but if you enter in the license key at install does this key then work for all kids that log on afterwards (so that they only have to set the drive for their google drive) of does each user have to enter in a key so that they can use it? I see that it's a user license and not a client license.

Expandrive looks like a great piece of software. Has anyone got this working on a domain where the kids just have to enter in their Google Username and Password (for Google drive access), or does it not work that way? I have tried an install but I don't have a license, so I don't know how it functions with actual users. Any info would be muchly appreciated

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you....... That has solved my problem up straight away. Many thanks

I am having a problem which sounds like it should have a really easy answer (which it probably is but I can't see it). We have half our staff using Office 365 and the other half using Office 2010. There is a group in Office 365 that has been created that contains all our staff emails. All sounds simple so far. When I have Office 365 opened and send an email to the staff group from the email tile, it only goes to the group conversation for the staff and not their inbox. When I send an email from the Outlook 2010 program to the group, it also only goes to the group conversation in Office 365 and not the inbox of the staff in that group. However, when in Outlook 2010, after typing in the group name in the "To:" section, if I expand the "All Staff" group, it goes to all the users inboxes rather than the group. All I want to do is just have a group in Office 365 that when I am in either Office 2010 or Office 365 have it sends to inboxes rather than to the group conversation in Office 365. I hope this makes sense to everyone and if you have any ideas, that would be muchly appreciated Thanks in advance.

We have an NEC NP600G projector (discontinued now as it's about 5-6 years old) in our main hall which does all of our displaying for assemblies and the like. The other day, we had the message to clean the filter which we did as suggested in the manual and numerous youtube videos (not the one that says you need to wet the sponge filter). After removing the filters (2 little click out cartridges), cleaning them and then putting them back, we have this as our screen which we are unable to figure out why. Wondered if anyone had come across an answer as there is nothing on tinterweb with an answer (that is jumping out at me)? Thanks for any help, Lardboy

Just to let anyone know who has been in the same situation as myself with the projector blowing but the board still usable. I went to a company called OrangeIS and spoke to a guy called Scott (01675 433980) and he was able to get a new projector and new mount which worked perfectly for the board. Thanks also to phillyrovers for pointing me in the right direction too

Thank you phillyrovers. I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they say

Here is what it looks like. The arm looks like it can move forwards and backwards so that kinda takes out the short throw problem to an extent. Just wondering if anyone had already replaced one and with what projector?
