About Opensource

  1. Infinite improbability??
  2. Capita will only provide support if you get your licence from them directly. LAs get a bulk licence deal but must provide the support to schools who license that way.
  3. Any views on the advantages and relative costs of either LA or Capita single site support?
  4. On the Capita Support site in the User Posts / File Sharing / Download area File 280 is an import/export executable for the SIMS Calendar/ Outlook 2003.
  5. Thanksgiving was over a month ago.
  6. Plugin is slooowwww
  7. Nope. We use T6 not T4 and the patch is for November 2 (and later) only.
  8. I have applied the November release and now I can't transfer timetable from T6 to SIMS.net. Capita have supplied a patch (the fault won't be fixed until the March release) so I'm trying it on the test system.
  9. That is conjuring up images I do not wish to contemplate.
  10. Updated our test system Monday and it seemed OK. How much of it CAN you exercise? Live update last night went OK. It was more of a rush job than I would like as our exams officer could not print exams cover and this one fixes it. And it did too:D
  11. If there are two teachers for the class they both have access to the marksheet. If they both export and import the later to import will prevail. This has happened at our school. Twice - same teachers
  12. No actually. Boxing Day is not the day after Christmas Day if Christmas Day falls on a Saturday. St. Stephen's Day IS always the day following Christmas Day.
  13. Chris, I'd certainly itnterested in how you automated the process.
  14. The word you need is 'subreport'. Check the help file. You can use your existing reports as subreports in a new main report. You will probably need to change the headers and footers in the sub reports and create something similar in your main report.
  15. OK for me on 3.0b5
