We're also looking at buying these as it's kind of hard to match this spec with our current budget. Has anyone else had any experience of this model?

We use the Paxton Net2 system. We have a contract with a local firm to do all the installations and support. The day to day administration is done by our Facilities manager. The only real thing we help with is the networking, maintaining the PC the database runs on and the odd upgrade.

Good work guys, really enjoyed it. Some very useful information that's given us food for thought. Any chance of getting a copy of the presentation? -
The hot/cold gel bandages are pretty useful instead of packs of frozen veg.

Wesley, these may be of use to you: Migrating from POP/IMAP to Exchange Server 2007 using Microsoft Transport Suite (Part 1) Migrating from POP/IMAP to Exchange Server 2007 using Microsoft Transport Suite (Part 2) There is a section in part one that talks about user permissions of the account migrating the data.

Hmm it works fine for me. As this is a type of relaying you may need to check the permissions you have for any receive connectors for your mail servers. Have you had any none delivery receipts? Or tried tracing the messages using the in-built message tracker?

I haven't tested this out myself but it looks like it should work: How to forward mail to an external email address | Exchangepedia

I've also had this issue reported from alot of our staff members. I've recently started rolling out the new update so I hope it solves some of the problems.

Hi all, I was wondering if some would be good enough to help me. I'm currently looking at some bandwidth issues we're having with Iplayer and was wondering if some wouldn't mind posting their results from the URL below: BBC iPlayer - Diagnostics During the school day we're currently getting enough bandwidth to play radio or the lowest version of video (if we're lucky), but at the end of the school day we're able to all versions of video (makes sense of course). I'd like to try and get some comparisons with other schools, i'm especially interested in any from Warwickshire.

ISA Access Rule is blocking flash content
shreevie replied to snuggletech's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
We had a similar problem with our VLE, i ended up doing the same thing. The one thing with ISA is the way it prioritises the rules so after some messing about i found that the rule for allow all users to our VLE had to be above our blacklists and general internet access rule. Also from my experience of ISA the anonymous user part in the logs is due to the ISA client not being used to help authenticate users. Not that it's needed of course, but you can always test it out if you want. -
Could it be a permissions problem on the share for the msi?

Midlands Techies

Hey guys. Currently living and working in Stratford-on-avon. -
Not sure if this helps, but here are the locale settings i use for some of our unattended setups. I imagine they're the same windows standard across the board: [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 SystemLocale=00000809 UserLocale=00000809 InputLocale=0809:00000809

I'm not to sure about Warwickshire, the RM We-Learn system was put in to run alongside the existing curriculum and admin systems so there's still plenty of work to be done there. I'd imagine RM would have a good shout at winning that contract though. Which would leave me wondering where we stood as we're not a school that does everything the way the LA suggests, including recently pulling out of We-Learn scheme.

I use AVG at work and at home. I don't have too many problems with it, though at work i don't find the Admin program very user friendly.
