Definitely not! We have been with Progresso for a year now and to be honest it was a huge mistake. We are currently in the process of migrating over to a rival MIS this year. We have had unions threatening industrial action because of the amount of time taken for complete registers, complete assessment grades (on average it took 90 minutes to enter 1 class groups grades!!) or even to login to Progresso We have complaining about speed issues since day 1 and nothing has been done about it. Support cases are fobbed off and not resolved until months later. On many occasions we have been left unable to login to Progesso for the entire day, this is very worrying for attendance and personal records. The person responsible for assigning cover in the mornings is using Excel spreadsheets because "I don't have an hour to wait for Progresso in the mornings". The Exams secretary spent an hour the other day inputting candidates into exam series' and she was saving regularly, only to be informed that "your changes have not been saved" To say she was unhappy is an understatement. If at all possible do not move over to Progresso until they resolve all their issues.

Just to let you all know that we have been using Progresso for a year now, and it has proved to be a complete nightmare. Very slow connection times, regular unexpected or warned downtime. Almost impossible to extract data. If your implementation has been delayed, consider yourselves lucky and I would advise you to stick with Facility for as long as possible.

The setup is exactly the same on all of the admin stations. I have copied the FMSconnect.ini file from one of the working stations, but that still didn't work. The computers are all on the same VLAN and subnet etc

Yes we do have a default printer, it is the same printer as the other workstations (HP LaserJet 2015)

Hello, We currently have FMS version 6.128 running on 3 admin stations without any problems, I have just tried to install FMS onto a new station and have got this error: Exception in Module finance.exe at 0016BDB9 stack level exceeded in finfunc.p_Handleredirect. Does anyone know how to resolve this. We do not SIMS on any workstations if this helps anyone. Thanks
