Hey Guys I've setup some calendars in SharePoint (Not sure what version SharePoint is, but it's pretty recent) as an electronic in-out board and a room booking system. We have these calendars syncronised with Outlook 2007 to make it easy to add and view entries both here at work and out of the office. My question is, I've setup an additional required field on one of the SharePoint calendars but this isn't replicated in Outlook. I was hoping it would be like when you create a new word document from a SharePoint document library...it opens word locally but when you try and save back to SharePoint it prompts you to enter additional required information (if it's setup). Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get round this? I thought about potentially creating a modified form in Outlook for new calendar appointments but not sure how I'd get these back to SharePoint so it updates the required fields? Thanks in advance

Not sure if this will help at all but I've had problems posting/booting with certain USB devices connected in the past (though not with smart boards). My solution was to disable USB keyboard support in the bios. For some reason my machines were hanging at post/boot because something like a USB bluetooth device was connected and the machine seemed to think it was a USB keyboard. Hey Guys I'm in the market for some memory sticks (say around 2gb in size) to transfer sensative data between PC's. I like the idea of the encrypted USB sticks with the biometric scanners on because it eliminates the possibility of lost/forgotten passwords (you can't loose a finger print unless something extreme happens with your hand lol) I've been looking at a few on the internet but tbh I'm not too sure what's good and what's not. Does anyone have any experience with these or could they recommend any particular model? Thanks

Thanks for the reply I've installed compatibility administrator to make a custom compatability for Zoombini's. From my understanding it saves this in a database and then updates the registry??? Eitherway once its been saved and installed from compat admin, Zoombini's works fine. I havn't seen any option to create an MSI from this so instead have tried a few other tools such as winINSTALL to make the MSI. It did a snapshot of the system before the compatibility patch was installed, then another after i'd installed it. Judging from what the MSI installs when ran on another machine, it's picked up anythin related to the compatibility patch (such as the .sbd database file it creates) but it the patch doesnt work on the new machine Is there something i'm missing with regards to the MSI??

Hey Guys I've been having some trouble running Zoombini's on a few P4 IBM's we have here I have found a work around by setting the screen colour depth to 16bit and altering the shortcut to run in Windows 98 compatibility mode. The only problem with this is the compatibility mode bit is user specific and only affects the user that changed it on their profile. Is there anyway of setting the Compatibility Mode so its enabled for every user that logs on for the Zoombini's shortcut? Hope this makes some sence
