I want to upgrade my Mrs's iPhone 4 but she wont let me. She does not like the new interface style and refers to iOS7 on devices as 'Fisher Price my First Apple'. It bugs me so much as she never ever ever EVER updates her apps. At last look, she had 37 outstanding!!! I told her she should upgrade to iOS7 just so apps can auto update but she is having none of it!

Yes, your PX SIMS Database should have a version returned. That's why it won't upgrade then as SOLUS3 has no idea what version it's currently on. If it can't return a version, it's usually because either the path to the SQL binn folder in SOLUS3 is incorrect, or when you added the database into SOLUS3, the SA password was incorrect. Check those things and then manually request a target version check. Once it returns the version number, you should be able to go ahead with the deployment.

Battlefield 4 Beta anyone?

It sounds like SOLUS3 cannot get the versions of all the SIMS server targets (Database, SQL Server, DMS etc). In the Agents list, highlight the server and click on 'View Agent Details' There should be version numbers for everything except the SIMS File Server.

I guess it's for people who pre-ordered the full BF4? I presume the BF Platoon rolls over so the [EDU] platoon will still be active in BF4? I'm in two minds about BF4. I hate the fact I'll be giving cash to EA who have become awful of late, and Origin is devil-spawn, yet since I built my new rig, I've been hitting up BF3 a lot lately and enjoying it (apart from the fact no one I know seems to play it any-more and squad teamwork is non-existent). I think it will be a peer pressure thing. If I see lots of people in game, then I reckon I'll cave. It's what I did with BF3!

Cheers for the info. I logged it with Capita in the end who came back and said this is caused by a corrupt widget configuration setting in the SIMS database. Capita connected through remotely, ran a SQL Management Studio script to delete the corrupt entry it and we tested it successfully after.

Not done it in any schools yet. The Summer upgrade has caused enough issues!

Yes it will. Once a SOLUS3 agent has been installed onto a workstation, it will block SIMSLoad.exe (the old SOLUS2 upgrade method) checking the S:\SIMS\Setups folder for updates. You'll need to remove the SOLUS3 agents on all of the workstations (If you've stripped out SOLUS3 from the server) or at a minimum, stop the SOLUS3 Agent Service on each device so that SIMSLoad.exe can check for, and apply any outstanding upgrades in the Setups folder.

@SovietRussia Did you get anywhere with this problem? Re my post above, the user user I helped is getting the same error come up again! No permissions changes that I can see. Odd how it 'fixed' overnight and now is broken again!
