My set up I have SW1 LAG10 T going to SW2 LAG1 T On SW2 LAG 1 T, LAG 2 U in vlan 10 But these stupid things don't work how can configuring a vlan be such a pain?

I have this setup Switch 1 (LAG 1) -> Switch 2 (LAG 1) T at both ends Switch 2 (LAG 1) T to Device (LAG 2) U.

The LAG links are as tagged each end and the LAG is tagged on the up-link port and untagged on the client LAG port. The PVID is set as 10 on the LAG interface.

Does it need to be tagged even if it is an end device?

I am having issue getting a vlan to connect on two netgear switches the switches have LAG link with vlan's in place I am trying to add another vlan but it it not working. I have added the vlan membership to the LAG but it is still not working and also the PVID but it not working?

Bump Can I delete this DNS entry as this is the one that seem to have a missing glue record?

The installer needed to be run as the local administrator pointer at the cluster ip address.

I just been looking at some documentation and I have found there was an issue running this test the message I get is Error: DNS server: **cs.local IP: [Missing glue A record] If I go in to DNS under _msdcs.local > Local> _msdc I> I get **cs listed as alias for another server. What course of action is required to fix this issue? Can I delete this record as some suggest?

Hi does anyone have a suggestion on why office 365 is re-sending old e-mails is it due to a fail over in a system? I have done a trace and I can't seen anything other that it has been sent today.

Found that running the SQL express installer manually resolved this issues. But now veeam will not connect to the cluster to add it and I get this error message.

Veeam backup free version is not installing with the error unable to detect database action. Not sure what I can do to solve this?

How do you migrate the Quorum when the wizards suggest it is not a recommended configuration?

It a 2012 failover cluster. I just checked and I had created it as REFS I re-created it as NTFS it and it did not give an error. It is now listed in disk part as a GPT disk so I should be able to go to go over 2TB. I got to do a storage migration of the file server and add an HDD. If it not a gen two machine I am ok in having multiple virtual disks that add up to the over 2TB?

I want to add a new LUN that is over 2TB to hold my file server I was expanding this and I got to the error message in disk part that it was over 2TB. I have tried adding my GPT disk on Windows server 2012 and Fail-over cluster manager says that there is not a valid partition on the disk. I don't really want to have my VM disks on different LUN's as that adds complexity to the setup.

The answer for anyone else was a stale selection in backup exec for the hyper-v snapshot selection. After manual adding and removing it now works.

How do you work out the stage that your migration of you onsite exchange has got to? I what to know the stage the migration is and finish moving it to the cloud.

How would you put preschool student in SIMS? Can it be made to work with some student that do term time only and some that do longer on top of that there are some students that do 8.30-3.15 and some that do 8.00-6.00. Would you need a separate tier for this preschool category? Would you set one group of student as day and the others as boarders?

Has any one else had an issue after doing a Hyper-v storage migration and then finding that there backup system is giving Snapshot technology error (0xE000FE1F) and not working? Could this be down to creating a folder to store the virtual machine in? Is the only way of resolving this moving the machine back to the original LUN?

I am getting this message now when trying to backup server using backup exec this is after I moved the storage location of the servers. How do I sort this issue it a real pain! I thought backup exec was hyper-v aware. How do you confirm lun id match storage id? I am using a sas msa 2040 and I what to delete some luns? I got a lun id from disk part is this the one I should take as matching the mapping on the storage? This is a hyperv 2012 cluster and I have two many csv.

Do you still need Hyper-v Quorum and which version of hyper-v was this not a requirement? The reason being is that my Quorum Lun sit right in the middle of the LUN space I want to reuse.
