Has anyone got any idea how much Viglen charge for support for a classlink system with less than 100 users - trying to make some quiet enquiries about changing the network.

How did you set them up, just been asked to install the software School-wide did you find an MSI for it or was it a manual install job? Don't have the time to create an MSI and roll it out - was hoping to find one already made.

Does anyone out there know any companies that provice either SIMs or Integris (G2) support in the North London area that are any good? Looking for better contracts than the ones we currently have.

I've never seen this before and am hoping someone out there has, and has a solution. On one of our admin machines, at random times some desktop icons disappear, some taskbar icons disappear, even the boxes around "ok" buttons disappears. I've run a full virus scan and haven't found anything. I thought I'd fixed it the other day - I ran sfc /scannow and the icons all returned. Two days later and the problem has come back again. Your right I was working on an old image which didnt have the revised Default profile! All working now when I sent out the correct one.

Anyone know where you edit the email fields in the latest version, can see it in the older source files but not the latest?

Hi Thanks for the reply, the problem we have at the moment when doing that is it seems to lose settings such as applications we have selected to run in XP compatability mode are no longer set to do this when we restore the image on a different machine. Is there a way to retain all these settings? Thanks

Silly question, but we have prepared an image on a base machine and have tried rolling out to another and it loops on Startup Repair. I presume we need to push a sysprepped image out to the other machines but am somewhat confused as to what options to select as its different from XP. We dont want to reset any settings such as local admin password or product key. Just push the same image onto a machine with different hardware. Anyone have any ideas if this can be done with the new sysprep and how? Also Is there a wizard for the unattended file like in the old one?

Hi LosOjos I have just been trying your getline code out as I also had problems with reduandant IPs being displayed on some machines. Works great but a slight issue I have come across is on machines where there are not multiple IPs, the text in IP.txt will be something like 192.168.1.1. Then when you run getline on this it falls over and comes up with the message "This is not a comma/tab seperated file" and outputs nothing to RealIP.txt if this makes sense! Would it be possible to add a check to the code where if only a single entry exists then it passes this onto RealIP.txt and if there are multiples it only passes the first entry? Hi Dave Thanks for the info, have thread through the thread. Just a little confused as to how it all ties intogether to be used by BGInfo. I have had a go playing around with the custom fields with no joy to date. Is it possible to have a look at the scripts you are running on the custom BGInfo field removing redundant IPs then I can hopefully mod them to work at the school!
