it might see it as a usb device / network card and change the boot order(ive had it before where an sd card left in made bitlocker think the boot order had changed). it might be worth disabling all boot options but hdd and see if that fixes it

thats my thought make a cable easier to reach as its plugged in internally or in an inaccessible place this brings it within easier reach

right i got it working on my test setup this morning. by known folders it JUST means document/pictures/desktop so appdata/music/downloads etc are not migrated (i suspect you could gpp/reg hack them across though but not sure a want to try) seems to work well i dumped rando files onto the test users desktop via chrome and they appeared almost instantaneously on the laptops desktop

check the time on the mac is as close as possible to the time on your dcs (id be tempted to set the macs to get their time from a dcs ip address)

there is also a plugin for chrome. that works pretty well it even shows a quick green, blue or red shield on articles linked on twitter (so for example YouTube & Wikipedia are blue hover over it and it says something like cant be verified as user created hover over say kotaku and its green and shows you why. Its ludicrous that a gaming website has better journalistic standards than a daily newspaper chrome plugin https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/newsguard/hcgajcpgaalgpeholhdooeddllhedegi

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2019/jan/23/dont-trust-daily-mail-website-microsoft-browser-warns-users edge (mobile for now) will pop up a warning if you visit new sites that are deemed untrustworthy. Interesting idea but as always with any sort of ranking or curation system i have to assume that its possible to get sites categorized wrong

never had to return owt to ebuyer but my biggest gripe was if you went with free shipping they just waited a week and sent it next day anyway i mean why?

ok so spiderman ps4. ive been playing it for 3 weeks now (only playing at weekends) and i dont get why this game got so much praise. To me its pretty meh, im about 2/3 of the way through the main story and i have more fun with some of the silly side quests (like catching pigeons) than the actual main story. In the start going round and grabbing all the rucksacks fixing the towers was fun but the combat isnt (maybe im just bad at it) and i cant say the story is really grabbing me. Not to mention like horizon zero dawn its definitely in uncanny valley territory when you see people speaking in cutscenes

lets hope it lasts longer than my alienware laptop <2 years and the nvidia card in it is kaput so not only is it no longer capable of playing games it crashes if its enabled in device manager and i cant output to an external screen

does anyone know if its possible to get office 365 (ideally both web based and outlook/mobile) to display a senders actual email address rather than their "name" ive come accross a few schools recently where an email that looks like its coming from the heads account but if you hover over the email address it shows rather than the actual email address. and these emails eventually end in the sender asking for a decent chunk of money and saying an invoice will follow (hopefully someone saying pay up then will send you an invoice should set alarm bells ringing) but if office 365 could show the actual email address this would be less likely to ever happen

finished xenoblade chronicles x over Christmas. I definitely prefer it to 1 bu t prefer 2 to x. I do love the more exploration focused idea behind x and the massive single map not to mention the huge jumps your characters can do (and the total lack of fall damage). im glad they simplified some of the systems in 2 as its much easier to play oh and walking/flying round in big giant mechs is also fun esp with the flight music again the people who do the xenoblade music do a great job of it started ps4 spiderman on Saturday. well its a game im not sure i get all the hype around it. So far its ok but i wouldnt say its great

isnt the ps3 remote ps4 compatible

ive got a test setup where im trying to get single sign on working. the user signs into azure fine (i have no normal ad backend its pure azure ad) and on first logon it installs office and tells them to encrypt the drive as per policies. sso works for the office apps and email in edge but one drive dosent. ive found you need to add a couple of reg keys then it works fine. ive tested this and yes onedrive auto signs in no issues. my problem is automating this. i have written 2 powershell scripts to do this (see below) and added them to intune device config powershell scripts but they dont seem to be running on the machine any ideas? (as one as current user and ones local machine ive split them in 2 to run but pasted them here as 1) new-item 'hkcu:\Software\Microsoft\OneDrive -Force | New-ItemProperty -Name EnableADAL -Value 1 -Force | Out-Null new-item 'hklm:\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Onedrive' -Force | New-ItemProperty -Name SilentAccountConfig -Value 1 -Force | Out-Null intune is showing 0 success 0 fails for those scripts
