Hi, I have a problem with excel 2007 on a couple of laptops. When you click the file to open it, it won't open. But if i open excel and open the file from within excel it opens. Any ideas? i have tried repair and also reinstalled.

Yes we tried the backup. The build area hasn't been right since they installed the new server. they just mirror from the old one. RM have been working on it for a week and a few separate engineers have looked (using logmein). no solution yet though.

A support call has been raised. Server 2 doesn't seem to have a build area.

anymore ideas anyone?

Hi, We have had an issue with our build area for over a week now. We have 2 issues not sure that they are related. 1. building from server 1 we get this error. Badly formed IP address, then straight after it says server cannot been found. (this is after it tests network connection in the dos). 2. building from server 3 we get this error. makec.vbs cannot be found. this is after windows is installed ad it starts to set the RM security settings. any ideas?
