Their WYSIWYG editor is appalling, it constantly messes up what you input into it. Not to mention their actual site designs are pretty bad overall, can't believe they actually show them off. Plus their sites always go down on snow days, as they have so many schools hosted you can probably imagine what ends up happening.

Yes, it should. While IE9 doesn't support (as per usual) the full CSS3 standard, it does support box shadows. Can we see the HTML snippet/CSS?

You obviously haven't owned a Dell Studio, mine is literally falling apart from general use. ---- I have to ask, why do they need £700 spent on a laptop? Do they plan on playing Team Fortress 2 on it or something? Because that's what my £700 laptop can manage.

Got any boxes running PHP you could run a quick script off? I could probably whip you up something pretty quickly.

My biggest gripe with Frog is that they don't seem to care about outside devs, you have to be staff at a school running a Frog install to see into their private forums and dev stuff so I hear, which means all the little add-ons and blocks come from the very few teachers and techies that have both the time and knowledge to develop these. Of course, 80% of the time if you know how to develop these things you probably wouldn't be teaching, so the numbers are few and far between.

AB tutor - How to apply Policies to offline computers?
Cue replied to fredted40x's topic in Network and Classroom Management
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't ABTutor very similar to Netsupport School (never used AB) in that settings mean absolutely nothing if the tutor console isn't open? -
nephilim got 1 second with an SSD and you're calling glennda a show off? =P

Oh thank God, lifesavers. I installed W8 on my laptop and found it absolutely horrific to use with metro and that nerfed start menu.

To answer an old question, RHEL and SUSE double up the letters, to sdx, sdy, sdz, sdaa, sdab, etc. It's probably the same on some other distros too, but I don't have the hardware to try it for 27 different drives on Ubuntu here.

Samba4 can serve GPO and AD, to the point where I do believe you can use the Microsoft Management Console to manage users and such (don't quote me on this). For GPO on Linux, use this: Free Active Directory Tools for UNIX, Linux and Mac OS X haven't used it myself, but it looks pretty good.

That'd explain why I didn't see them then, we had to rush round gallery due to a lack of time.

Missed out on the free pizza at Edugeek, and actually missed it out somehow. Wish I had gone there tough. Got a neat little USB stick from ASC, not sure what size though, still on my way back, Clapham to Aldershot train, always fun. Let's see... Promethean Planet tee by getting beaten at ping pong by the guy upstairs with the big multitouch board. One of the red bulbs from Ergo, an ASUS lanyard, lots of sweets from the Tap It, and a considerable amount of paper. Next time, I think I'll get there for 10, half 11 didn't give enough time. TechSupp, where'd you get the A1 print? Oh, also got a card from one of the Multipoint guys. Yay contacts.

TemplateMonster.co.uk, I swear by these guys most of the time. -
I think you may be pleasantly surprised...

Some of you are way overcomplicating this, all you need is a second graphics card, no need for Crossfire/SLI, just stick them both in and make sure the drivers are installed, easy 4 displays providing the cards have two usable heads. Grab a GTX460, stick it in as a replacement for the 7100, you should be good to go.
