  1. The old Documents structure is a Red Herring. As long as Sims has setup the new structure of Docstorage it should work. Have you checked paths in all ini files?
  2. If you have run Dmconfig, allowed it to set up Docstorage (try to run a report) then copied the old files over... it should work. After running Dmconfig you did restart the Document server??
  3. After you ran Dmconfig was the last line the correct path. Unless you get it exactly right it often still says Documents, so hasn't done the job. As for the error, what office product have you got installed on that machine?
  4. It must have affected them at Capita too, as they were unable to post a news item.
  5. Run the Dos routine from post No.4. This will stop the Documents problem and give you the correct location.
  6. Nah. More like "Hmmmm, what does this cable do?"

  9. Is SupportNet down, or have they pulled our plug?
  10. I'm with Tim and Matt on this. It sounds like MS Office to me. Do the reports work from workstations? If so that is definitely the problem on the server.
  11. No good telling you it is in My Profile and Display then...
  12. Most of my items are set to show the Max. No.
  13. Still there. Dated 14th April.
  14. I believe so. Currently Setups files are used, as Solus 3 is replacing that it has to. Or has to in the future. I've not had time or resources to test it yet.
  15. If the Docstorage doesn't exist, the error is usually that the report doesn't exist. Your point 2. is well worth mentioning. It saves having to work out the path. If the Docstorage is in the wrong place or you want to move it, use the following: Change the path of Docstorage to a physical drive as follows: 1. At the Document Server machine select a DOS command prompt. 2. Change the drive to point to the drive where document server is installed e.g C:\ 3. Type cd\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net Document Server and press enter 4. Type dmconfig and press enter 5. This will display the dmconfig settings e.g C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net Document Server>dmconfig Current server configuration: Protocol: http Port: 8080 Directory: C:\DOCSTORAGE 6. Type dmconfig /D D:\DOCSTORAGE (to change to D:\drive) 7. Press enter (note: document server service will need to be restarted for this to take effect)
  16. Having a quick look, there is a very similar error which relates to 64 bit systems Which report are you running, or is it any report?
