  1. Have to get it copyrighted first. It's usually out just in time for exams and too late for install and upgrading of PCs prior to teacher's holidays.
  2. What he said was disgusting, not for the 'joke' (I haven't heard it) but because he gave Katie Price an excuse for another series. Which of course I ignore and don't watch.
  3. I have only complained once, about that program Bonekickers, or something similar. It was so appallingly bad, I really did object to money being spent on it. I felt the cast and producers should have been paying us to allow them to make it.
  4. Slightly different. You don't directly pay for this forum, you do the BBC.
  5. That should have read 'joke'.
  6. In a sense, anything is fair game in humour. It depends on the intent and the audience. Having friends of various nationalities and races, I understand that a racist joke told in such a way that it shows the ignorance of a racist can be funny. On the other hand a racist joke aimed at degrading a particular race is not funny.
  7. There is a notice. It relates to the SWC and contracts.
  8. Will you ever learn? Take the first date, add 14. Wait a bit, add 7 (number approximate) that will give you some idea of the real release date. Add 10 for the safe update date.
  9. I had an email about a Kodak ZM1 the other day. They are about £25. With some decent reviews.

We could travel. I'll take a look, thanks.
  11. I should give you mine if I get one for my birthday. Unless someone can point me in the direction of a chocolate weight loss diet.

We've done a few day boat trips, including locks. I've done 2 Norfolk Broads holidays, about 35 and 15 years ago. I have visited Caen Hill Locks, not in a boat though. kennet avon canal history devizes heritage can boats locks

We are spread around the Southern end. Brecon sounds a good choice.

I've been asked by friends, after a Sunday jaunt, to find a narrowboat holiday, weekend/week or midweek. Most likely a weekend. Has anyone done this and can recommend a company, the best canal and an idea of the price (for 4 people, not all related, so maybe a 5 berth) Thanks
  21. It's only children and pets been warned. Techies are fair game for snakes.
  22. Just found a 1.570. It doesn't have a 'Settings' button.
  23. Which version are you using. V1.21 has a "Settings" button.
  24. If you are installing on a server you need local paths not shared paths. Presumably you want to run SIMS on the server occasionally. Shared paths would be on the workstations.
