  1. Hmmm. This may be because Microsoft haven’t caught up to a certain age of tenants maybe? If the setting in azure is disabled and the option to disable security defaults is there, I see no reason why it would continue to show mfa prompts if that option has been set to disabled.
  2. Microsoft enforced security defaults by default back in 2018-2019-2020, can’t remember off the top of my head. Did the user only just notice MFA enforcement notifications? I have that exact option set to disabled on my tenant, and I don’t get MFA notifications. Another thing I would try is go to this link (https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/UserManagement/MultifactorVerification.aspx?BrandContextID=O365) This should show you who has mfa enabled. Worth a shot.
  3. Ah right, hopefully my support agent can sort it out for me!
  4. So currently you don’t have admin privileges over the tenant showing MFA required? If you have admin privileges, In azure Active Directory, go to properties once in your chosen tenant, click manage security defaults and disable security defaults. If you aren’t admin, I think you have to contact MS support from what I’ve seen when I’ve been locked out of one of mine. Hope this helps.
  5. That’s great, I really-opened my ticket this morning. Did it take them long to get the issue resolved?
  6. Hello everyone, I have spend hours upon hours going into the early hours of the morning to try and get this working and to no avail! So, I have a HTA program which a user can enter their message into the text box and then press submit. After pressing submit a HTA file is generated with a css file intertwined with it to make it look good. This works fine, it goes to a file share and sits there. There is then a server side script which after the HTA file first appears it is given 5 mins to stay in the file share and is then deleted from the share. The only problem I am having is getting the HTA file to open on client computers. Tried everything. Thanks
  7. Do I not need to change the MX Records anyhow? Basically the reason why I am doing this is because when I send emails from my local exchange to a hotmail.com account for example, it goes straight to the junk folder. Therefore, If I setup the send connectors and have Office 365 dns records, can I send and receive emails from my local exchange mailboxes but sending through office 365 records? Thanks
  8. Hi Everyone, managed to get this working now! Basically I made my own script that connects to exchange server and sends me an email with the computer name etc. All working great!
  9. Ah right so once you’ve setup the hybrid tool, it’s just the send and receive connectors on local and office 365 exchange which need configuring? And the dns records
  10. Hi Everyone, Happy new year! For a home project, I have setup an on premise Exchange server in a Hyper-V VM. All working fine but just wanting to look at mail flow. Anyways, going into detail, I currently have an office 365 tenant, but I like the management of Exchange, so can I use the hybrid tool to setup the link between my office 365 tenant, and then route all incoming emails from my exchange server through office 365 although I am not going to migrate any mailboxes? What connectors will I need to have setup? DNS Records? Azure AD Connect? Sorry for all the questions, it's my first time doing this on my own at home. Thanks
  11. Ah right, that makes more sense now. Thanks for this! Hope you have a lovely Christmas.
  12. That’s great! Will take a look into this over Christmas Thanks
  13. I’ve still got an on premise exchange server, is there any way that using a vbs script this would work? Thanks for your reply too!
  14. Hi guys, I am wanting to use a script that sends a simple message notification saying Imaging has completed on computer name. But only shows this message if a file exists in the C drive. Is this possible? Thanks
  15. Thanks for this. Will have a play around with it.
  16. Hi Everyone, This weekend I’m in the process of getting our company imaging process more slick. All programs are installed and which works great but we don’t know when there finished installing as we don’t use sccm yet. So our programs are installed via a script but we don’t know when all programs have finished so we have to manually unc into the computer and look for a folder which the script creates, And because we use o365, this is made even harder for us as we want to send an email which tells us that this computer has finished i imaging at date time etc and with the computer name. Is this accomplishable?
  17. Got it working! Had to get rid of this ($mail.save()w)
  18. I only noticed that yesterday that the 22H2 install.wim is now a .esd Not sure if it was because I didn't get it from the VLSC.
  19. Managed to fix it in the end, as we do not use acrobat, as soon as I saved the file into a .pdf I printed and it didn’t do the black boxes issue. Thanks
  20. The Ricoh driver utility has been installed
  21. Sorry should have gone into more detail. It is a Ricoh MPC2003 (not from 2003!) No printer management as of yet.
  22. Hi, Having a weird issue which I’ve faced before but can’t quite remember how I fixed it. When I print using publisher or adobe acrobat, it prints a full black page over the page. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
  23. Ok, so managed to get it working finally!! I think I put components in the wrong place. Thanks
  24. No only bios. All I want to do is join the domain and skip oobe! Would you be willing to share yours? Thanks
  25. Hi Everyone, I have setup a WDS Server to deploy out windows to new and existing pcs but running into a problem with joining to the domain. So the first thing I do is create the unattended file and then add to the image in wds and the. Pre-stage the client in ad with the gui But the problem I’m facing is that the unattended file isn’t working as it should, can’t join domain basically. Please could someone provide some help on this? Thanks
