We're also looking to move away from PASS and an obvious way forward would be to go over to HUB. We are finding that WCBS are not really engaging with us despite us being very transparent with them about looking for something else.

I was baffled to see an invoice from Wonde when I'm sure it was the DfE that approached us to use them. Been using Wonde for over 2 years without having to pay them anything. After seeing this post I jumped onto the portal and downgraded. I find it underhanded to have to opt-out of a premium service you never asked for in the first place.

If you don’t have PoE now, you could buy VoIP phones with power supplies. I did this with Yealink phones we are deploying. I have rooms that don’t have enough network points and need mini switches. Adds to the cost, but it wasn’t much when bought together with the phone. Less than the cost of PoE injectors in my case.
