  1. I can't believe that anyone is considering giving money to Studywiz. The company has gone into administration and the owner is financing a skeleton operation whilst trying to sell the 'new' company. No wonder they are trying to put the price up 35%! You need to be asking them what you are paying for? Will the software be supported for the year? If so, by who? If the company can go into administration with the financial investment they have had I would not want to be giving them one more penny. Read this, very interesting... Changing the game?: Troubles for StudyWiz - an acid test for the LP procurement framework?
  2. With schools in Northants exploring their options we have had quite a few enquiries from primary schools in the area about our platform. As a result of this we have demo'd to a few schools in the area who have signed up. If you would like a login to a demo account or would like to speak to a local school using DB Primary please PM me.
  3. I have heard from two different sources, one of whom showed me a confidential email sent from a local authority to all of its schools. I have looked and could not find anything official from Studywiz/Etech online.
  4. Just heard.... The UK branch of Etech has entered into voluntary administration. This explains the BETT situation!!
  5. If you are a primary school you should definately look at DB Primary, who sponser this forum! The platform is easy to use for children, even easier for teachers and requires NO training.
  6. I heard all type of rumours from minor things to armagedddon! Don't know what to believe that's why I was asking if anyone knew exactly what is going on?
  7. At BETT, Studywiz had advertising on big banners outside and on the doors as you entered but did not show up on the stand they booked. I heard different explanations from people about why they were not exhibiting. Does anyone know what is happening with Studywiz in the UK?
  8. :)Hope you can all get to BETT to enter the competition:)
  9. Sorry if this comes across as salesy but hopefully one of you will win! DB Education will be giving away a free learning platform for 3 years to a primary school at BETT. All you need to do is come to stand F140 for details of how to enter the competition. Hope this is of interest to some of you?
  10. Russ, I have just PM'd you a login to the DB Primary learning platform, which is for primary schools. Enjoy,
