The only way i fixed this (and it took ages!) was by going to device manager, view-> devices by container. Find Intel Smartsound tech SST Audio controller. Right mouse click and update driver. click browser computer. Select let me pick driver. Finally change to High Definition audio controller and hit next. This should fix it!
