To be honest I'd do what FN-GM has suggested. Alot of packaged bank accounts include decent breakdown cover for 10 to £15 a month as well as other services such as travel insurance and mobile phone cover. I use Natwest with a Platinum account at £16 a month, but one one of the best is Nationwide Flexplus at £10 a month. When I did the sums on what I was already payin for various services moving to a paid for account was a no brainer, as well as a monthly fee being alot easier on the wallet than large one off payments!

Personally love the moleskine notebooks that Google, Adobe and Microsoft have all been handing out. Have several of each and currently using my MS Technet one for notes . Mugs are a pain to transport, pens and other stationary is great as are (decent sized!) memory sticks. Too many memory sticks I pick up are stupidly small sizes and just end up in the bin now Food and free drinks are always good and encourage me to visit the stand Have got a couple of handcrank LED torches which are useful as freebies before. They stay in my bag for emergencies .

Really sorry to hear the trouble your having Luke - must be absolutely gut wrenching! Just going through the motions of planning my wedding, and I know how important having good photographs to remember the day will be. Absolutely agree with this. Trying to find a decent photographer (made all the more difficult by the fact we're getting married abroad!) is so difficult. And as has been said Luke - I'd take him to the cleaners and be expecting him to restage shots at his cost!

Thought it was my email account! I've noticed some delayed notifications. Have instant email setup and noticed that some threads I get emails arrive like normal, others I get a very delayed email or for a few none at all.

Been tempted to get BF4, just not so tempted by the price on origin!

We already test ever year group online several times a year (online CATS, Reading and spelling tests - and yes it takes forever!), so not that much of a stretch to get to GCSE/A-Levels as well. To be honest as most have already said I suspect any form of online test taking will require a rethink in how exams are handled. Instead of the current everyone sitting the same paper I can see things moving towards having several batches of papers that are taken at staggered intervals and/or dynamic/adaptive exam papers that are different on each taking.

I have several gmail accounts and my own personal domain with email. They all get forwarded to a single email address that I use with Office365. Had my own personal exchange account for 7 or 8 years now - although not always with Microsoft!

Can recommend the Asus RT-N66U (Dark Knight - RT-N66U - Networking - ASUS) as being a pretty decent router/dual band wireless point

Eve got me for many years before it was even released! Was heavily involved with the community for 3 years before commercial release, testing Alpha and Beta versions of the game. Can still remember the time the devs decided to jump into the Alpha system with a titan to see what we'd do. Que everybody targeting the titan . They only told us afterwards that they'd made the titan invincible - also didn't help that being the alpha large scale in-game combat was a lag fest Was in ISD for the first 6 months of the game, but ended up leaving pretty quickly as the game just wasn't what a lot of us had hoped for. It's certainly developed a lot since I last played however!

Had a few different batteries over the years (including the massive thing that I had at BETT ), but can recommend Anker battery packs as being pretty cheap and fairly reliable. Personally I'd go EMC. The VNX series is quite a nice piece of kit. When getting quotes make sure to tell them they're competing against NetApp, Dell and HP. They'll drop the prices quicker than you can blink to win the business .

If you empty them of linecards, PSU and dataplanes they're normally not too bad to lift for two people. I know when I had 2 EX8208's installed we only had 2 guys to install it!
