  1. I've sent an email to help@tes: I feel I need to comment on the absence of any form of communication from yourselves regarding the issues ClassCharts has been having this last 30 hours. I appreciate, especially working in IT myself, that sometimes things don't work correctly, nothing can have an 100% uptime. The bigger problem here is the complete lack of acknowledgment or communication out to your customers that there was an issue and that it was being worked on. After the data breach issues last year that you all swept under the carpet as a non breach - one can only assume similar again without being assured otherwise. You need to do better.
  2. This is the longest I've known them be down since the school has started using them (a good 4 or so years). Must be quite the problem! Still no communication out from them either..... starting to think it might be an attack/compromise. Especially with how they swept the last data breach under the carpet....
  3. I can't stand the lack of communication. A simple email or social message acknowledging the issues and assuring us they’re working on it would make all the difference. The silence only adds to the frustration.
  4. Been using this for 3 years. KCSIE guidence means you should have this or similar software raelly too. Even if it stops one of your pupils self harming or being groomed its paid for itself 100x over. We have had quite a few serious alerts that have come through with this, smoothwall called us a couple of times instantly. Many were just typed into word... which your general smoothwall wouldnt pick up on. Reading impero logs or similar is human based checking which as people have said, can be a full time job. You shouldnt have any issues convincing SLT to pay for this
  5. Literally as I pressed post then: A message over the radio from attendance to pastoral "sorry, class charts is down" Shambles
  6. Already looking to move away from CC anyway before this. They clearly take on too many new schools before their back end infrastructure is ready to cope with the new load. Every start of terms its the same, unusable most days between 8:30 and 9:30. We had teachers logging in during this "breach"and seeing another school too,not just parent side, clearly all data isnt siphoned off seperately.
  7. edulink or classcharts
  8. Around the edge of the room with standard desks in the middle seems to be the teacher preffered layouts. They are the ones that are booked the most anyway!
  9. Avoided windows 11 until now as we all know microsoft release a good one, then a bad one, then a good one, then a bad one.....repeat haha. I have been pretty impressed though and using it on my own PC on the network for a month or so. I have the similar issue to others where probably only 50-60% of hardware would upgrade.
  10. Just what I needed. Thank you
