By now most of you will have noticed that we are hosting the Frambozembier Raspberry Pi developers forums and we think it is about high time we let you know a bit more about them and why we have teamed up.
Frambozenbier.org is the brainchild of 3 avid open source and electronics enthusiasts:
Liam Fraser (@Liam-FB) is the technical lead at Frambozenbier and had already made several Raspberry-Pi tutorials that can be seen on the main RaspberryPi.org website and YouTube.
Austin Waddecar (@Ozzy-FB) is a graphic designer and helps in creating the written and multimedia tutorials as well as providing all of the branding and marketing.
@Turbo-FB: Publicity shy Turbo-FB is the Frambozenbier project co-ordinator and also helps Austin with the written materials.
Collectively, their ultimate aim is to work closely with Raspberry Pi directly and provide tutorials, guidence and advice for all those with a serious interest in developing on the Raspberry Pi for all levels of experience.
Their main site - www.frambozenbier.org - already has a raft of video tutorials, news and other items which as the Pi's get rolled out, will provide a ready resource to anyone looking for more on what is going on, and quite early on in their development they approced us at EduGeek as to the possibility of helping them out with setting up forums for them, as we kew this would be of particular interest to our members we suggested that placing them on EduGeek, where there would already be an entusiastic user base, would possibly be the best option. And they agreed. The RasPi forums can be found here - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/frambozenbier-raspi-forums - and Frambozenbier will be working away on them from now on (as they now actually have one of the first Pi's) to help you all out. So if you have any Pi questions or comments please post them up in there and one of them will be along as soon as they possibly can to help you out.
