[tasc] Using TASC Insight to Collect GCSE Option Choices
LianneKemp replied to LianneKemp's topic in MIS Systems
Thank you, I didn't think to check the Capita documentation! -
Hi, sorry if this has already been posted somewhere else - I have tried to find a response to my query but couldn't find anything! We currently use Insight at school and I want to develop it's use to collecting GCSE option choices for our pupils instead of using paper forms. Does anyone do this? If so, would anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction of setting this up? Thanks, Lianne

Hiya, does anyone know how to change the cell font. All of my timetable is in Arial apart from the class details in the cells which are Times New Roman, and the menu to change the font is greyed out (but only under Cell Settings, I can change the font under Layout Settings). Thanks!!!

[sims] SIMS Nested if then Else - Colour in Blank Cells
LianneKemp replied to LianneKemp's topic in MIS Systems
Thanks for replying, I actually worked out that is was my gradeset - I had a grade of 'N' which had a value of 11. I've amended my gradeset since and it works fine! -
Hi all, sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, I did do a quick check! I'm setting up some traffic light analysis in SIMS using the Nested if then Else formula. When i calculate the data in the marksheet, it will colour in blank cells as well. Can i do anything in the template to ignore or not colour blank cells? Thanks! Lianne

Sorry I might be being really dense, but what did you have as values in your gradeset?

Hi all I am trying to create a template in SIMS to track pupil deviation across all subjects at a particular reporting point. I want to create a formula to work out how many times a pupil has a particular deviation, eg. -2, 0 etc. When I select GRADE TALLY COLUMNS, the deviation columns in my spreadsheet don't show as an option to select which I think is because they are Marks-Integer. Is there a way of getting around this? I thought about copying each deviation column using the EQUALS formula to create it into a grade but I'm not sure how this would work. Any suggestions would be greately appreciated!! Thanks! Lianne

Hi! I'm sorry if this is posted anywhere else on edugeek, i did search but couldnt find an answer. I'm creating a tracking sheet in SIMS Assessment Manager, and one of my columns (where the forumla was MAX) was being shaded red for no reason. I checked all the Nested if Then Else formulas and it wasnt using that column so I couldnt see why it was coloured in. I tried deleting all my Traffic Light formulas from my marksheet template but this is still pulling through all of the traffic light colours on the marksheet. Is there a way of getting rid of the traffic light colours or do I need to start again? Thanks!!! Lianne

[sims] Converting UMS Marks to Grades in SIM's
LianneKemp replied to Steven_Cleaver's topic in MIS Systems
Just when you thought that was the last from me (for today)...I've managed to sort out my grade sets now so the marks entered for different units are calculated into a grade, but my traffic light formula no longer works because the value of the target grade and the topic grade is now different (the target grade has the KS Point Score grade set - A- 52, B - 46 etc and the topic grade I have calculated is using an ISA grade set). Is there a way you can convert a grade back to points, and then back to a grade again - so id be converting the newly calculated grade to the KS point score and then using this in my formula?
