Hello All, Was wondering if anyone of you are having a similar issue with the AQA e-Marker 2 software on a C2K managed device. Was working fine up until yesterday, now anytime you log out of that same computer and back in you have to redownload e-marker again as it causes errors when trying to connect to their servers, so I delete the local profile off the computer for that user before running e-marker again which then installs fine. Once installed again it all runs as expected. For the life of me though, I cannot find where it is being installed to on the C drive. Anyone got any clues to why we get the connection error issue requiring us to install it again each time? I just put it down to the surface pro being rubbish because they are temperamental with everything. Thanks, Mark

Thanks Chris! Everything is going well, but I have a question about the sleep/wake settings on the DMS. Is there a way to keep the devices in standby mode so they can be automatically turned on and off? I can't get them to wake on LAN in the mornings unless manually turned on at the front. They seem to go offline after a while and then can't be controlled. I'd like the boards to turn on and off daily for emergency broadcasts if needed. Thanks!

I ended up setting this up yesterday mainly just for the broadcasting to the board and have to say it was extremely straight forward and took about 10 mins to do. Works well.

Bit of an Old thread but was wondering if anyone has had any experience with setting up DMS or X-Sign Broadcast on a C2K network? Essentially just seeing is it worth looking into setting up if it works.

In what way is their Sync not the best?

Hello all,Just curious, with the shift from C2K to Bromcom for all NI schools coming in the next year or so, I was wondering if any of you have been looking into Bromcom much?In terms of swapping out their cashless system so that it works seamlessly with the My Child at School app, are any of you considering this?We currently use CRB Cunningham's and ParentPay for our canteen system. (It has been hit and miss over the years.)I have been looking into the BioStore system as that means it would rule out using CRB and ParentPay since it can speak directly with Bromcom's software.Although this is still very early days as we have no idea what is going to happen over the next few months since everything has been hush-hush with C2K/Capita. I literally only found out the other day that it was Bromcom that is now going to be the MIS provider for schools here.We will have to wait it out until closer to the time when more information is released, but it doesn't hurt to start digging through Bromcom's resources, and I have to admit, their documentation seems pretty well-organized so far on their resources/training websites.I just wanted to see if anyone else has heard any news or if you are looking into it as well? Yeah looks very different. Doesn't really appeal to me to be honest. I loved the 2008 movie though when I was younger. Personally I don't see why everything needs a remake or a series. Who knows though could turn out decent.
