Well the time has come for me to move on to wider things (small secondary to large college) and as such my job is now up for grabs!

Current vacancies

There are two posts up on the site ICT Technician (£14,733-£15,444) & Senior ICT Technician (17,161-£19,126) however only one will get through out of the two!

Work is full time, we've got Lync 2010, VDI, all kinds of Remote Working (VPN/Direct Access/HAP+), SharePoint 2013 intranet, Remote Desktop Servers, almost 100% Windows 7, App-V and loads of other toys!

Any questions just let me know :)

What if RM is mentioned in the context of them being carp?

Then the job is yours! (so long as you meet the PS/pass interview and so on) :)

:p

Too far for me. Though you're in the same sort of are as RM HQ...

We are indeed - Oxford is close by and there is a regular bus service as well :)

School is nice and quiet during the summer and we've got loads of projects in the planning this year including new broadband, transfer of control of email (Office 365) from the LEA to us, new thin clients to deploy and all manner of other things.

Well considering we've had BBQs during the summer! The network manager is a great person to work with so have no doubt - this is a FANTASTIC job :)

That screws my Job application then, it would go like this...

Supporting a school for X years on an RM NETWORK, been to RM Courses, managing RM Computers.

So to avoid wasting my ink, I'll let someone else take it!

Seriously Good luck to the applicants. I would but no point if its more commute for similar money.

Looks like a RM KLP avatar as well ;)

Its not to disuade anyone with a RM background to apply but it is to say that mentioning you have managed RM CC$/XYZ just won't get you any extra points over others with Vanilla experiance.

I dunno about that... Our CC4 stuff fails so hard, I have to do a lot of things the vanilla Windows way.

Please could we not go off topic in the jobs forum. It really doesnt help when people are looking for information about the job or have a genuine question.
