Opening online pdf's erroring

Hi all,

We have noticed after Christmas that our language pdf resources which are accessible from home will not open if they have accents in the title now.

Has anyone else come across this?

What version of adobe reader or is it another piece of software ie foxit reader or something else that is having this issue ? What OS and 32 or 64 bit ?

 

Simple thing and not sure how many machines you are talking about but maybe a complete remove / cleanup via ccleaner or something similar ( windows disk cleanup ) and re install using latest version ?

Several students have had this problem from home, we tested it too and encountered the same problem opening pdf's with accents, when we removed them it opened fine....
