Has any one experienced whereby when you open the Devices and Printers folder nothing gets loaded and that the green status bar is forever loading but never quite reaches the end?

Restarting the Print Spooler service seems to do the trick but a reboot reproduces the problem.

Deleting locally attached printers is one solution but this isn't viable.

I have updated drivers to no avail :(

Oh, and starting the Bluetooth services does diddly squat.

Is this on the same computer where you've highlighted an IE problem? If it is, I suspect a re-image may be in order as I previously mentioned.

If it isn't, you could try resetting the spooler to default and seeing whether or not this resolves the problem.

Hi Michael, this isn't the same computer.

I have re-imaged the computer but the problem still persists. This is a brand new computer purchased from RM - Model: Desktop 214. Not really sure what to make of it

Strange One!

have you checked what services are run on msconfig? and then disabling all non-microsoft services

also if you dont want to send the pc back could you run a script at startup that restarts printer spooler?

also did you set the bluetooth support service to start automatically on boot up?
