Interpol Virus

One of our computers got blocked last night with this virus. Could not access internet / anti virus. Logged in in safe mode and tried to run anti virus however I thiink it stopped before it was finished. Today, now however I have managed to start up computer, run AVG and go on the internet. How can I check in Task manager whether this virus is still located there? What will it appear as in Task manager? Should I run any other checks?

Google "HijackThis" it's a process/regedit logger that will find anything running. You can then put the log through the HijackThis log analyser online which will flag up the most obvious dodgy things or you can look through the plaintext yourself. Nice little program for this sort of thing.
