oxide54 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I have a (effectively) a USB serial device needed to be used on any computer. I have installed the drivers via DEVCON and window now knows what it is, but still prompts the user for an administrator username and password? anyway round this. its really irritating because we are not going to be able to be at their beck and call everytime they decide to use a different PC or even USB socket. XP btw
